As the main living place of middle school students,middle school campus is an indispensable growth environment.With the rapid development of social economy,the mental health problems of middle school students gradually appear in people’s vision and get continuous attention from all walks of life.The release of a series of documents,such as "the implementation of educational reform from 2018",clearly indicates that the education bureau carries out the reform of educational content in primary and secondary education,and the campus landscape of middle school gradually meets more functional needs from the previous single form.The middle school student group is the main user of campus.The application of campus landscape design directly affects the psychological state of middle school students.Horticultural therapy theory has medical value of landscape theory,in the elderly group and youth group of environmental application,reflects the remarkable cure effect.Combined with the application of campus landscape design in middle school,the treatment methods in horticultural therapy theory explore how to make the campus landscape better serve the middle school students and alleviate the mental unhealthy state of the middle school students.Help middle school students to regulate their emotions and exercise their physical function.This paper takes Xi’an Hi-tech Fourth Complete Middle School as the research object,uses the practice investigation,the analysis induction,the multi-disciplinary research method,explores the middle school campus landscape design application and the horticultural therapy theory knowledge to want to combine the strategy.Through the questionnaire of middle school students in Xi’an area,this paper analyzes the present state of middle school students’ psychology,and applies the theoretical knowledge of horticultural therapy to the application of campus landscape design in Xi’an Hi-tech fourth complete Middle School.To help middle school students self-emotional repair and release pressure.The comprehensive practical course of horticultural therapy can exercise the physical ability of middle school students and improve their social ability,and create a middle school campus landscape that can cure the mental health of middle school students.
