Study On The Landscape Cognition Of Chang’an Section Of The Piedmont Of North Qinling Mountains Based On The Landscape Character Assessment

The contradiction between the protection and development of the landscape in the piedmont of north Qinling Mountains is prominent,and the sustainability is seriously threatened.One of the fundamental reasons is the failure of the spatial strategy caused by the lack of landscape cognition.How to explore the landscape cognitive tool that can guide the formulation of the spatial strategy for the sustainable development of the piedmont of north Qinling Mountains from the holistic perspective has become an urgent problem to be solved in the landscape planning research of the piedmont of north Qinling Mountains.In this context,this paper introduces the landscape character assessment as a landscape cognitive tool into the landscape planning process of the piedmont of north Qinling Mountains,and uses the concept and method of landscape character assessment for reference to carried out the landscape cognition of Chang’an section of the piedmont of north Qinling Mountains from the regional scale.Firstly,the method system of landscape cognition based on the landscape character assessment in Chang’an section of the piedmont of north Qinling Mountains is constructed.Secondly,the paper studies the classification and description of landscape characters and the judgment of landscape characters,and obtains the recognition results of landscape character types and main landscape characters,as well as the current change and development of each landscape character type.Finally,based on the cognitive results,the paper puts forward the corresponding landscape spatial strategies.This thesis is divided into six chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,which expounds the research background,research object,research purpose and significance of the paper,and summarizes the literature review at home and abroad,sorts out the research progress of landscape cognition and landscape character assessment at home and abroad,analyzes the adaptability of landscape character assessment as a landscape cognitive tool in the piedmont of north Qinling Mountains,and finally determines the content of the study the basic method and the overall writing framework.The second chapter is the theoretical basis and analysis framework,and the analysis framework and technical route of this study are proposed based on the theories of information processing,Landscape ecology,Geography,and driving-state-response model of sustainable development theory.The third chapter is the method system of landscape cognition making in Chang’an section of the piedmont of north Qinling Mountains,focuses on the research object,and proposes the method system of the landscape cognition based on the landscape character assessment by referring to the process framework of landscape character assessment.Chapter four is the classification and description of the landscape character of Chang’an section in the piedmont of north Qinling Mountains.Combining the contents of indoor desk research and field investigation,key landscape character elements affecting landscape formation,description indexes and contents of landscape character in Chang’an section of the piedmont of north Qinling Mountains are determined.Based on this,the research area is classified and mapped,and on the basis of classification,the main landscape characters of each landscape character type are described and analyzed to realize the recognition of the research area landscape character types and main landscape characters.Chapter five is the judgment and decision-making of landscape character of Chang’an section in the piedmont of north Qinling Mountains.Combined with the content of landscape cognition and the goal of landscape ecological sustainable planning,the change threshold identification of landscape characteristics and importance evaluation of landscape ecological protection in Chang’an section of the piedmont of north Qinling Mountains are carried out to realize the diagnosis of the current change and development of landscape character types.The diagnosis determine the policy objectives of five types of landscape planning,including protection,maintenance,strengthening,restoration and renewal.The policy objectives of planning of each landscape character type is obtained.According to this,the landscape development guidelines of different policy target areas are formulated for each landscape character type,and the overall landscape spatial strategy is proposed.There are three main conclusions in this study.Firstly,this study puts forward the recognition results of five types of landscape character and the main landscape character of each type of landscape in Chang’an section of the piedmont of north Qinling Mountains.Secondly,this study puts forward the diagnostic results of the current change and development of landscape characteristics in Chang’an section of the piedmont of north Qinling Mountains.Thirdly,this study puts forward the planning policy target zoning,landscape development guidelines and the spatial strategy of each landscape character type in Chang’an section of the piedmont of north Qinling Mountains.
