Abstract/Summary:
The remote collaborative test of substructures is a new seismic test method developed on the basis of pseudo-dynamic test of substructures in order to adapt to the tendency of larger and more complicated engineering structures.It is a powerful means to improve the test capability by integrating the existing test equipment resources,the powerful computing power of computers and the real-time communication function of the Internet.This method has become a research hotspot in the field of engineering testing since it came into being.Relevant research institutes at home and abroad have carried out some basic research on its application in civil engineering testing.The network of structural test has also become the development trend of civil test.In this paper,OpenSees Navigator,a general finite element software with visual operation interface developed based on Matlab,and MTS test loading system are used to establish a remote collaborative test system with two stations distributed by OpenFresco test platform.Made the following research on the principle of the remotely collaborative test of sub-structure and its application in the seismic performance research of Y-type eccentrically braced multi-layer high strength steel frame:(1)Expound the consist of the remote collaborative test system,the test principle and the test process.Introduce the modeling process of the remote collaborative hybrid test model about Boundary freedom reduction,the structure equivalence and parameter selection in OpenSees Navigator,established a remote cooperative test system containing two real test sites.(2)Design a three-layer Y-type eccentrically braced steel frame with five-span in the horizontal and single-span in the longitudinal in 1:2 scale,take the spatial structure part with eccentric brace on the second span as the test substructure 1,the spatial structure part with eccentric brace on the bottom layer of the fourth span as the test substructure 2,and the rest as the numerical substructure.The two test substructures are located in two laboratories 50 kilometers apart,and the remote collaborative tests is conducted via the Internet to reaserch the loading precision,the communication performance and the remotely collaborative performance of the test system.Through the comparison of different parameters,it is proved that the test system has good loading precision,communication performance and remotely collaborative performance.(3)Two different universal finite element programs,OpenSees Navigator and SAP2000,were used to build the full-structure pure numerical models respectively with validated modeling methods.By comparing the results of the remote collaborative test of the substructure with the results of the two pure numerical models,verified the reliability of the test results,the validity of the test system and the accuracy of the test model.(4)Design three different layers Y-shaped eccentrically braced steel frames with three-span in the horizontal and single-span in the longitudinal in 1:2 scale,and the Y-shaped eccentrically braced steel frames in the bottom layer of the middle span were selected as the substructure to carry out the substructure pseudo-dynamic test to study the influence on the test results through different boundary loading.After comparison,it can be seen that the horizontal load applied by a single actuator or ignore the gravity load on the upper part of the substructure will increase the floor displacement response of the substructure and decrease the base shear response of the substructure,that is,the stiffness of the substructure will decrease,and then affect the stiffness of the whole test model.
