Information exchange in vehicular networks brings a lot of convenience to users. With the advent of the 5G era,the transmission speed of network services has been significantly improved. The content that users exchange in the vehicular network is not limited to the traffic information.Vehicles at high speeds can share all kinds of content. However, due to the fastmoving character of vehicles, sharing content reliably and efficiently remains challenging.Conditional privacy preservation and message authentication are the main topics of vehicular network security. With the context of new technology, the main problem which the vehicular networks facing is still meeting the users’ requirements for security.Currently,in many existing authentication schemes, vehicles can access the application service in the network without any vertification, which increasing the chance of malicious vehicles appearing in vehicular networks. At the same time, many authentication schemes in vehicular networks are applicable to the traditional vehicular ad-hoc networks, but for 5G environment, these schemes do not have high compatibility and practicability.Secondly, some authentication schemes still adopt bilinear pairings to implement encryption operation, resulting in the high computational overhead. In view of these problems, this thesis studies the reliable and efficient content sharing of vehicular networks in the 5G environment, and the following researching results are achieved:(1)This thesis proposes a reliable and efficient content sharing scheme for 5G-enabled vehicular networks.Vehicles with content downloading request can quickly screen neighboring vehicles, select the appropriate proxy vehicles, and request them to provide content services,so as to achieve a good hit rate, save network traffic, reduce time delay and relieve traffic congestion during peak hours. In addition, the security analysis shows that the scheme can meet the basic security requirements of vehicular networks. At the same time, the cryptographic operation of this scheme is based on elliptic curve.Compared with other similar schemes, the proposed scheme has better performance in computational overhead and communication delay.(2)This thesis proposes a group-based content sharing mechanism for 5G-enabled vehicular networks. Before executing the process of message authentication, the trusted authority will issue a secret key for the legitimate base station, and the base station will complete the mutual authentication with the secret key,so as to screen out the legitimate vehicles. Therefore, only the authenticated vehicles can have a legitimate identity for content sharing. Thus, the security of content sharing in vehicular networks is improved.Through strict security proof, this thesis verifies that the proposed scheme can meet the security requirements of vehicular networks. Finally, the performance evaluation also proves that the scheme has good performance in terms of computational overhead and communication delay.
