With the development of my country’s industrial technology,the demand for electricity has increased sharply,which has accelerated the development of China’s power technology.In practical applications,traditional power transformation technology has many problems,and it is difficult to meet the needs of modern industrial production.With the characteristics of high integration,high intelligence,and high reliability of information transmission,intelligent substations can realize the data interaction of each unit of the system and improve the data sharing.It is increasingly used in modern power systems.This article takes smart power station as the research object and designs Bailing 220 KV smart power station based on the basic characteristics of smart power station.This article first elaborates the basic composition of the smart substation from the basic concepts,characteristics and structure.At the same time,it analyzes the information model construction method of the IEC 61850 protocol in detail,and elaborates the four-layer structure of the information model in more detail.According to the composition of the information model of the IEC 61850 protocol,the hardware of the intelligent power station relay protection system such as electronic transformers,smart terminals,and smart protection devices are introduced in detail.Finally,the information sampling technology of the intelligent power station relay protection system is analyzed.Secondly,the system wiring diagram is obtained based on the actual according to the main transformer capacity,voltage ratio,wiring type,and system impedance application standard unit to complete the selection of the main transformer and intelligent primary equipment.Complete the selection and design of the system’s electrical ignorance,lightning protection,grounding,station power supply,and lighting.At the same time,with the 220 kV smart substation in the Bailing power supply area as the core object of this research,the analysis and summary of the related organization and hardware equipment of its relay protection system are carried out.After completing the project architecture and software and hardware configuration,the specific tuning and trial procedures of the system are elaborated,and the tuning and trial methods of each module of the smart power station are introduced in detail.Tuning and trial-related technologies can ensure the safe and efficient operation of the system and reduce the number of failures,which is a very important link.The tuning trial of the substation is not only for the tuning trial of a single selected device,but also for the testing and tuning of the virtual circuit of each substation.Finally,take the 220 kV voltage substation as an example,focus on the detection methods of virtual circuits,and point out the possible impact of configuration errors.In the process of using the equipment,the relevant facilities must be strictly inspected,and the deficiencies of the relevant systems must be improved to the greatest extent to minimize potential safety hazards.
