Automobile non-pneumatic wheels have attracted the attention of engineers because of their incomparable advantages over traditional pneumatic tires under severe conditions such as military,off-road,and mining.Automobile non-pneumatic wheels are the future development direction of tires,the research on non-pneumatic wheels has important engineering significance for the automobile tire industry.Taking the bird’s nest structure non-pneumatic wheel as the research object,the main line is the analysis of the wheel grounding mechanics and the dynamic characteristic analysis,and the finite element analysis technology is used as the research method.The specific research is as follows:Considering the non-linear characteristics of the wheel and the material,the finite element model of the bird’s nest structure non-pneumatic wheel is established.Use the finite element software ABAQUS to analyze the influence of the subsidence on the grounding behavior of wheels with different array numbers,including grounding footprint,normal stress distribution and maximum normal stress.Consider the particularity of the wheel structure and material,analyze the influence of different tire materials and grounding positions on the grounding behavior of the wheel;consider the influence of the roll angle on the grounding behavior of the wheel in the roll condition;also consider the influence of the friction coefficient between the wheel and the ground on the wheel shear stress.Based on the natural frequency calculation theory of the honeycomb structure,the natural frequency calculation formulas of the regular diamond structure and the zither-shaped structure are derived,and the natural frequency calculation formula of the wheel bird’s nest structure is proposed.ABAQUS was used to verify the correctness of the natural frequency calculation formulas of the regular diamond structure and the bird’s nest structure,and the influence of the structural parameters on the natural frequency of the diamond structure and the bird’s nest structure was analyzed.Use ABAQUS’s modal analysis technology to solve the characteristic frequency and modal vibration of the bird’s nest structure non-pneumatic wheel of array 30,analyze the natural frequency of different array numbers and the influence of tire material on the radial natural frequency of the wheel;analyze the influence of grounding conditions on the wheel vibration frequency and mode shape;analyze the influence of load and speed on wheel vibration frequency.Based on the results of the modal analysis,the transient response of the wheel is analyzed,and the stress and displacement curve of the dangerous node under the load of 100 N is obtained.Based on the static grounding analysis of the wheel,the main reason for the vibration in the steady state rolling of the wheel is the mechanical difference of the different grounding positions of the wheel.The maximum normal stress difference of the different grounding positions is used as the measurement index,the influence of the rotational speed on the wheels of different arrays in the steady state rolling is analyzed,and the influence of the roll angle on the wheels of the array 30 in the steady state rolling is also analyzed.
