| China’s 14th Five-Year Plan points out that several data center will be built in the next five to ten years. However, the characteristics of high energy consumption and large area limit the rapid growth of data centers. In order to solve this problem,State Grid proposed to build data centers and substations together. However, this model also brings another problem, that is,the complex electromagnetic environment of the substation will have a serious impact on the data center. At present, there is little research on the environmental electromagnetic field when the substation and the data center are colocated, and the comprehensive analysis of multiple influence factors is lacking. In this paper, the effects of different electromagnetic disturbance sources in substations on data centers are analyzed, several electromagnetic influence analysis models are established, and the corresponding allocation suggestions and protective measures are proposed. The main contents of this study are as follows:(1)Determine the most influential electromagnetic disturbance sources of the substation on the co-station data center, and explore the calculation method of the main electromagnetic disturbance sources.According to the characteristics of co-station environment between data center and substation, the interference modes of different disturbance sources to data center are analyzed. In view of the three main interference sources of power frequency electromagnetic interference, lightning strike and fault current, the calculation methods of their interference modes are studied respectively, which provides the theoretical basis for the full text.(2)The electromagnetic influence of the power frequency electromagnetic field of the substation on the co-station data center is studied, and the related laws are discussed. The corresponding allocation suggestions are given. The finite element analysis model of220 kV indoor substation is established. The distribution of power frequency electric field and power frequency magnetic field in the substation is studied respectively, and its influence on the data center is analyzed. Finally, the electromagnetic interference intensity of the data center under different distances is explored, and reasonable allocation suggestions are given, which provides a useful reference for the construction of the costation data center.(3)The electromagnetic effect of lightning intrusion on data center is studied, and the electromagnetic protection effect of lightning protection measures on data center is analyzed.Combined with the characteristics of lightning intrusion data center, the transient overvoltage caused by lightning wave intrusion and lightning protection system was studied. The simulation model of lightning protection system outside the data center was established, and the electromagnetic distribution inside the data center was calculated.A circuit simulation model is established to calculate the transient overvoltage and current generated by the lightning intrusion wave at the outgoing line of the data center when lightning strikes the transmission line of the substation, which provides a theoretical support for lightning protection in the data center.(4)The electromagnetic effect of fault current on data center is studied.Ground potential rise caused by substation fault current will have two influences on the co-station area. One is that step potential and contact potential are generated to threaten personal safety;the other is that transfer potential is generated to affect communication cables in data center. These effects can be reduced by changing the relevant parameters of the ground grid. Therefore, this paper studies the relationship between different connection modes and different structural parameters of the ground grid and these adverse effects through the establishment of numerical calculation model of electromagnetic field. The calculation results can provide guidance for the grounding system layout and cable laying in the co-station area between data center and substation. |
