As an important part of urban rail transportation,modern trams play an important role in relieving traffic pressure and improving the urban environment,while intersections,as places where various modes of transportation converge and clash,are often the key elements that restrict the further improvement of urban road traffic efficiency.Therefore,necessary signal cooperative control measures are needed to combine tram speed guidance with tram intersection signal priority strategy in order to improve tram operation efficiency as well as intersection operation conditions.This thesis therefore investigates modern tram intersection signal cooperative control in the following areas.Firstly,this paper summarizes and analyzes the research basis of modern tram intersection signal cooperative control,synergizes tram speed guidance with intersection signal controller,and designs a cooperative control system;by comparing different signal priority control strategies,the active priority coordinated control strategy is determined as the signal priority scheme adopted at intersections,and at the same time,the overall goal of intersection priority strategy is established for environmental factors When the intersection priority strategy is used,it takes into account the intersection tailpipe emissions while reducing the per capita delay.Secondly,this paper sets the basic assumptions for the objects under study,including intersections,trams and social vehicles,and determines the per capita delay model and tailpipe emission model used in this paper after comparing the relevant references.Then,the tram intersection signal cooperative control process is established,and the speed guidance of modern trams is analyzed,and two scenarios of red light time arrival and green light time arrival are set for different tram arrival situations at the intersection,as well as the corresponding tram speed adjustment scheme and different signal adjustment strategies.Among them,the focus is on getting different per capita delay models and per capita emission models for different arrival scenarios from the perspective of the change of phase duration under different strategies,and establishing signal timing optimization models.Again,this paper takes the intersection of He Shan Road and Jin Feng Road in Suzhou High-tech Zone tram line 1 as an example,and uses the above model to analyze different speed and signal adjustment strategies on the premise of field research to obtain relevant basic data,and obtains the recommended driving speed of trams at different departure times and the changes of delay,emission and objective function under different signal strategies.The delay per capita decreases and the emission per capita increases but is still within the acceptable range under the extended(cycle change)scheme,while the objective function value shows that the overall benefit of the intersection is better under this scheme,so this scheme is more suitable for the intersection under study.Finally,based on the data obtained from field research,this paper uses the VISSIM and Vis VAP modules to simulate and verify the current timing of the intersection and the adjusted scheme.The results show that the signal cooperative control strategy for tram intersections proposed in this paper can not only effectively improve the effectiveness of the whole intersection,improve the operating efficiency of trams and increase their competitiveness,but also ensure that the emissions of the intersection are maintained within a small variation range,which verifies the effectiveness of the scheme.
