Inductively Coupled Power Transfer(ICPT)technology uses electromagnetic coupling for wireless power transmission.It has been successfully applied to many areas of life such as consumer electronics,electric vehicles,and some special equipment,and it has advantages such as safe,flexibility,and convenience.Couplers are the key link for the wireless power transmission in the ICPT system.The primary coil and the secondary coil of the coupler are prone to relative deviation,which weakens the mutual inductive coupling characteristics,and affects the power transmission capacity of the coupler,thereby affecting the system output performance.Thus,the couplers with good coupling performance and power transmission capacity are of great significance to ICPT systems.For this reason,combined with the characteristics of the circular and square couplers commonly used in ICPT system,this paper proposes a novel round corner square coupler,which combines the coupling characteristics and power transmission capacity of the circular and square couplers.The optimal parameter selection method of the round corner square coupler is also given,which makes it have the advantages of power transmission capacity of both circular and square couplers to the greatest extent.It is better than the circular coupler in lateral anti-offset performance and the overall characteristics are better than the square coupler.The specific work of this article are as follows:Firstly,the research background of the thesis and the current research status of the couplers at home and abroad are analyzed to give the purpose and significance of the research,and the main content of each chapter of the thesis are also summarized.Secondly,based on the Newman formula,the equivalent model of the circular and square coupler is established,and the mutual inductance calculation expression is obtained.The numerical solution of the mutual inductance expression is solved by MATLAB software,and the finite element simulation software is also used for auxiliary analysis.Thus,the advantages and disadvantages on mutual inductive coupling characteristics of the circular and square couplers in a certain space are analyzed and compared.Next,based on the characteristics of the circular and square couplers,taking the ratio of the length of the line segment in the square structure to the length of the arc segment in the circular structure as the research variable,a new type named round corner square coupler is constructed and proposed.The effect of length ratio on the coupling characteristics of the round corner square coupler is studied in detail.Compared with the round corner square,circular and square couplers,the variation law and advantages and disadvantages of the coupling characteristics of the three couplers are summarized.Then,the round corner square coupler is optimized and comprehensively designed:(1)Aiming at the strongest power transmission capacity of the coupler,the parameter optimization method of the round corner square coupler is given,which can make the optimal round corner square coupler has the advantages of both circular and square couplers to the greatest extent;(2)Aiming at the strongest power transmission capacity of the coupler,a reasonable selection method for circular,square and optimal round corner square couplers is given;(3)Based on the optimal round corner square,circular and square coil,the coupling characteristics and power transmission capacity of the asymmetric coupler with different primary and secondary coil structures are analyzed.The power transmission capability of the coupler can be further improved by reasonable selection of the primary and secondary coil structure;(4)Based on the optimization and selection method of the coupler,considering the output power and cost simultaneously,an integrated design method of the coupler is given to determine the parameters of the coupler.Finally,an experimental platform is built to verify the theoretical results.Experimental results show that the optimal round corner square,circular and square couplers have their advantages in coupling characteristics and power transmission capacity within a certain space range,and the optimal round corner square coupler has better lateral anti-offset performance overall. |
