| Located at the northwest end of the Wuling Mountains,the Southeast of Chongqing is located in a closed mountain environment,with relatively lagging economic development and a single livelihood for farmers.Because of this,the natural characteristics of the mountainous areas and the regional style of the traditional villages in the region are still intact.The positioning and construction of rural development in Southeast of Chongqing has brought great development opportunities for the villages and towns in the region,and the villages in Southeast of Chongqing are experiencing a historical turnaround in development.The improvement of village infrastructure and transportation conditions has brought about the enhancement of the rural economy in the region.However,in the process of construction,some of the newly built villages only focus on the superficial improvement of living conditions and neglect the planning and design of public space,showing a tendency of a thousand villages in terms of spatial structure and interface form,leading to the partial destruction of the traditional mountainous ethnic characteristics of the settlement environment in Southeast of Chongqing.Therefore,this paper conducts a special study on the design of public space in the new villages in Southeast of Chongqing,in order to continue their local natural and humanistic characteristics,inherit the local customs,give villagers a sense of belonging,promote the two-way development of local village ecology and economy by improving the public space environment,and create a living space for living and working,which is especially important for consolidating and expanding the results of poverty eradication and promoting rural revitalization in Southeast of Chongqing.This paper first analyzes the morphological characteristics of village public space in Southeast of Chongqing from the aspects of natural geography and humanistic environment,and outlines the artistic and ecological values of traditional village public space in Southeast of Chongqing,in order to provide materials and references for the planning and design of village public space in the region.Then,through extensive research in the rural areas of the region and fieldwork in Wulong,Pengshui,Shizhu and other districts and counties,the design elements of public space form are constituted through the interconnection of point-like space,linear space and surface-like space.The current situation of public space construction in the transformation of traditional villages and new villages in Southeast of Chongqing is analyzed,and the problems in the planning and design of public space in new villages in Southeast of Chongqing are summarized(difficulties in protecting traditional public space,deviation of function from actual needs,lack of humanized concept in design,tendency of urbanization in form,lack of follow-up in design,and lack of interaction space).Finally,the design strategies of unity,protection,participation and practicality for new village public spaces in Southeast of Chongqing are proposed,taking into account the local local customs and traditions,and the design methods for new village public spaces in Southeast of Chongqing are proposed,starting from optimizing the form of village public spaces,continuing the traditional village style and inheriting the local humanistic spirit. |
