Research On Win-win Energy Cooperation Between China And Africa

China and Africa enjoy a long history of friendly relationship and have conducted a long-term cooperation and transaction in the energy field.Along with the steady development of China-Africa’s relationship,as well as their needs of social and economic development,the energy cooperation between China and Africa is going through a new historical stage.Except of the introduction,this paper is divided into three parts.The first part(chapter 1)is to analyze and introduce the basis of China-Africa energy cooperation from the perspectives of history and reality.The first section is about the long-term friendly conversations between China and Africa in many fields including politics,economy and trade.The second part is the mutually beneficial and complementary conditions in and between China-Africa energy cooperation.Last the representative cooperation process between China and major oil producing countries in Africa has been summarized,as to present a more intuitive overview of the cooperation in the field of energy between China and Africa.The second part(chapter 2)is to summarize the opportunities and challenges of China-Africa energy cooperation in the new era.On one hand,the increase and perfection of China-Africa bilateral cooperation mechanism has provided a more effective policy support for China-Africa energy cooperation and practical support,on the other hand,the complicated and changeable international situation,has brought a bunch of tough challenges to deepening the win-win energy cooperation between China and Africa.China should strengthen energy cooperation with Africa further,enhance cooperation level,as well face the challenges to seize and cherish the opportunities for China-Africa energy cooperation.The third part(chapter 3)is to put forward the countermeasures to deepen a win-win energy cooperation,in the current and future period,between China and Africa.First,we need to strengthen the foundation for China-Africa energy cooperation through deepening strategic cooperation.Second is relying on One Belt And One Road Initiative to improve China-Africa energy cooperation mechanism;Third,we should work to build a community of Shared energy interests and Shared future between China and Africa.
