The Application Of Child-based Rehabilitation Landscape In Children’s Welfare Homes

96% of the children in the Children’s welfare institutions are disabled children,which is different from normal children,who can not be placed in family foster care normally.The landscape design of Children’s welfare home is more special than that of other places.The welfare home is a place for disabled children to study,live and recover.The outdoor landscape is an important place for disabled children to play,contact with nature,learn and cooperate,and understand the society.Therefore,the child welfare home’s outdoor landscape construction is the most important.The following problems generally exist in the outdoor landscape of Children’s welfare homes,for example,the fire channel is not free,the safety facilities are not perfect,the outdoor landscape is unified,the game facilities are monotonous,the activity field is unitary,the outdoor plant landscape is scarce,the design lacks the rationality,lacks the outdoor rehabilitation training facility,the outdoor landscape rehabilitation function is unitary and so on.There is no rehabilitation landscape design according to the special situation of Children’s own disability,no humanized design,no implementation of the child-oriented design concept,and no difference in the psychological and physiological characteristics of children of different ages,at present,most of the landscape of Children’s welfare homes can not meet the needs of children’s welfare homes.According to the above existing problems of the Children’s welfare home,the child-based design concept,analysis of the particularity of the Children’s welfare home,so as to carry out a specific analysis of specific problems.This article takes the outdoor landscape environment of the welfare home as the research object,the basic reason that causes the children’s welfare home outdoor landscape design flaw lies in the children’s own particularity,causes the outdoor landscape design to become more complex and diversified,the existing landscape designers do not attach importance to the outdoor landscape of Children’s welfare homes,do not have a deep understanding of the complexity of the composition of Children’s welfare homes,do not take into account the rehabilitation role of the outdoor landscape.Based on the analysis of the existing problems,the children in Children’s welfare institutions are divided into three categories: normal children,children with physical defects,children with mental defects.According to three different types of children’s psychological characteristics,behavioral characteristics,physiological characteristics,specific analysis of the required rehabilitation landscape.The concept of humanized design based on children runs through the whole thesis and design.To design the outdoor landscape of Wuhan Children’s Welfare Home,adopt the barrier-free design,increase the humanization of the outdoor play space facilities of the Children’s welfare home,adopt the horticultural therapy,increase the diversity of the outdoor plants,through the plant arrangement to promote the rehabilitation training of the children in the welfare home,the five senses design is adopted,and the interactive outdoor landscape activity mode with the children is brought into play.Wuhan Welfare home is located in a special location,based on the beautiful geographical environment around Lake Townsend in Wuhan,to put forward a reasonable design.The design concepts of barrier-free design,horticultural therapy,five-sense design,as well as the design elements of different materials,color collocation and plant configuration are used in the landscape design,to find out the theory and design method to be followed in the landscape design of Children’s welfare home.For Future Academic Research and practice to provide some reference,so that the children’s welfare home outdoor landscape design system more complete and detailed.
