The Research Of Post Occupancy Evaluation On The Children’s Playground In Hohhot Comprehensive Parks

Parks are one of the most important components of a city’s green space system.The children’s playground in urban comprehensive parks are significant space for children to take part in outdoor recreational activities.In order to explore the children’s playground of the comprehensive parks in Hohhot,and design high-quality children’s playground for children that satisfies their physical and psychological characteristics,this thesis choose the children’s playground in three comprehensive parks including Manduhai Park,Qingcheng Park and Chilechuan Park in Hohhot as research objects to do research.The research of this thesis can be divided into three stages roughly,as following:1.After defining the main subject and staple content of the research,firstly,consult a large number of books,papers,and materials to grasp the related concepts and theories,and also the research overview of related content at home and abroad,for the purpose of laying a good theoretical basis for the writing of the following thesis.2.Do field research,objectively describe the current situation of children’s playground in Manduhai Park,Qingcheng Park and chilechuan park.On the basis of others research and combining with the current situation of children’s playground in three parks,construct a POE evaluation factor set including 3 first-class evaluation factors and19 second-class evaluation factors,and according to the POE evaluation factor to design questionnaire,including basic information of tourists,satisfaction evaluation,importance evaluation,then distribute and collect the questionnaire in three parks,and disposal the questionnaire data to make mathematical statistics.Analyse the basic information of visitors and the Likert scale of satisfaction,on the basis of importance survey,construct the comprehensive evaluation system of children’s playground in Hohhot by using AHP,finally obtain the comprehensive evaluation results of children’s playground in Hohhot’s comprehensive parks: The score of children’s playground in Manduhai Park is 3.73,the comprehensive evaluation result is L2,and the level is "good";The score of children’s playground in Qingcheng Park is 3.19,the comprehensive evaluation result is L3,and the level was "general";The score of children’s playground in Chilechuan Park is 3.06,the comprehensive evaluation result is L3,and the level is "general".The overall score of children’s playground in the comprehensive park of Hohhot is 3.33,the comprehensive evaluation result is L3,which is "general".3.Finally,according to the results of qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis,summarize the current situation and shortcomings of children’s playground in Hohhot’s comprehensive parks,and put forward five strategies of optimization and improvement,which are:(1)People-oriented,pay attention to the role of playground in children’s physical and mental development;(2)Pay attention to the plant configuration of playground,create an activity environment with both have greening and beautifying effects;(3)Improve the basic service facilities to meet the basic needs of users;(4)Increase winter activities,improve the utilization rate of winter;(5)Strengthen the maintenance and management of playground,create a comfortable and safe atmosphere for activities.Through the above research,we hope that the improvement suggestions can be feed back to the park management office for implementation,and provide scientific and reliable reference for the design and construction of children’s playground in other urban parks in Hohhot.
