| Since the reform and opening up,China’s economic development situation is good,but the regional economic differences exist for a long time.In recent years,the economic center of gravity has begun to shift to the south,which has also formed new regional economic problems.Water resource is a necessary element of social and economic development.From the perspective of regional differences in water resources,this paper focuses on the impact of the improvement of water conservancy infrastructure level on regional industrial development,and studies the theoretical region of the economic impact of water conservancy infrastructure construction to a certain extent.Based on the provincial panel data of the Yangtze River Economic Belt from 2008 to 2017,this paper describes the level of water conservancy infrastructure in the region through the regional reservoir density,and measures the industrial development level by the regional economic scale,industrial structure,internal structure of the secondary industry and internal structure of the tertiary industry.With the help of urbanization rate and fixed asset investment level and other intermediary variables,the influence of water conservancy infrastructure construction on industrial development and its mechanism were systematically analyzed and tested,and the water supply and water conservancy infrastructure level lagging a period were used as instrumental variables to test the analysis results.The study found that the construction of water conservancy infrastructure,improve the capacity of the economy and alleviate the shortage of water supply for industry development,promote the regional economy in the development of the scale and structure,and the second level of the industrial structure of the Yangtze river economic belt have played an important role to improve,and reduce the third level of industrial structure,but in the west of the Yangtze river economic belt,The construction of water conservancy infrastructure reduces the level of secondary industry structure and promotes the improvement of the level of tertiary industry structure.Further research shows that the mechanism of water conservancy infrastructure promoting regional industrial development can not only directly promote regional industrial development by improving water supply capacity,but also indirectly affect regional industrial development by increasing urbanization rate and attracting fixed asset investment.Finally,based on the results of theoretical analysis and empirical analysis,relevant policy recommendations are put forward. |
