The development of electromagnetic induction technology has promoted the development of motors,and the wide applications of these motors and motor-related products in our lives bring great convenience to our life.After Tesla invented the induction motor of the single-phase alternating current(AC),the prototype of the Shaded Pole Motor(SPM)began to appear.Compared with other induction motors,the design structure of the shaded pole motor(SPM)is not complicated,the work efficiency is not high,and there are certain difficulties in starting.But this kind of motor is low in price,low in noise,and has different power specifications,which can be widely used in fans,instrumentation,industrial products and electrical products,and has broad application prospects.The internal structures of different shaded pole motors are quite different,and the slight changes in their specifications and sizes will also lead to great differences in performance parameters.For shaded pole motors,it is of great significance to study the magnitude and distribution of induced electromotive force,induced current and magnetic field.In addition,all kinds of torque analysis and internal equivalent circuit of shaded pole motor are also the focus of research.Although shaded pole motors are widely used and have good prospects,there are few researches and analyses on shaded pole motors at home and abroad,and the theoretical research of shaded pole motors is relatively scarce.Moreover,when the shaded pole motor is running,the agreement between the related parameters measured by experiments and the existing theoretical calculation values is not very good.In this paper,a series of experiments and related researches are carried out around a shaded pole motor.First of all,several control experiments were completed,and the experimental data were analyzed deeply.Then,based on the actual phenomenon and experimental data,the theoretical model is established,and the calculated values obtained by the theoretical model are in good agreement with the experimental measured values.Finally,COMSOL software is used to model and simulate the physical field of shaded pole motor,so the distribution of current,electric field and magnetic field of shaded pole motor is obtained and analyzed.This article mainly studies the following contents:(1)A series of experiments are carried out around a shaded pole motor.After introducing a prototype of shaded pole motor,experiments were carried out for this shaded pole motor structure.By observing the experimental phenomena,three variables that can influence the rotating speed of the disk are put forward.By controlling variables,three groups of control experiments were carried out,and the experimental data were recorded,analyzed and fitted,and the correlation was obtained.Then,the expressions of repulsive force and induced electric field in the disc are derived semi-quantitatively.(2)Theoretical models are established around several torques of shaded pole motors.By analyzing the input current in the coil and the disc angular velocity,it is found that the relationship between the input current and the disc rotational speed is not linear.The motion of shaded pole motor is analyzed from the angle of torque,and the expressions of starting torque,friction torque and resistance torque of disc are obtained semiquantitatively,and the torque equation is deduced,so that the relationship between the input current in coil and the angular velocity of disc is obtained,which makes the theoretical calculation value agree well with the measured value.(3)COMSOL software is used to model and simulate the physical field of shaded pole motor.A three-dimensional model of shaded pole motor is constructed in COMSOL software,and the distributions of current,electric field and magnetic field with and without aluminum plate are numerically analyzed.The simulation results are consistent with the theoretical analysis.
