When a car is involved in a frontal collision,the seat plays a key role in protecting the occupants.Frontal collision safety of seats is currently an important research topic in various countries.The main research methods include the seat frontal impact test and computer numerical simulation analysis.At present,the domestic research on seat safety performance is still in its infancy,the numerical simulation analysis method of frontal collision is not perfect,and there is a certain error between the calculated strength of the seat components and the actual situation.Therefore,researching a more accurate set of numerical simulation analysis methods for frontal collisions of seats is of great value to promote the development of the domestic automobile seat industry.This thesis takes the driver’s seat developed by a domestic company as the research object,and analyzes the frontal collision safety performance of the seat.The main research contents of this paper are as follows:(1)Analyze the structural characteristics of the seat,and select the finite element simulation software suitable for the numerical simulation of the frontal collision of the seat.Use the pre-processing software Hypermesh to build a finite element model of the seat,and Carry out the seat modal test according to the requirements of the enterprise standard Q/JLYJ7110602A-2012 "Passenger Car Parts Modalities".And the Opti Struct solver is used according to the test requirements to carry out the modal simulation analysis,compare the test and simulation results to verify whether the seat finite element model is valid.(2)Analyze the regulations and standards of the seat frontal impact test,and use the simulation pre-processing software to establish the finite element model of the dummy and the seat belt,and position the dummy on the seat finite element model according to the seat R point coordinates.The boundary conditions,hourglass and negative volume in the numerical simulation of frontal collision are set to complete the establishment of the finite element model of the entire seat frontal collision.(3)Use the LS-DYNA solver to carry out the numerical simulation of the frontal collision,and obtain the results of the stress and deformation of the seat components.According to the requirements of the enterprise standard Q/JLY J7110462B-2018 "Passenger Car Seat Collision Safety Performance Evaluation Specification",the seat frontal impact test is established,and the car test result is compared with the numerical simulation calculation result to verify whether the seat frontal collision finite element model is valid.(4)In view of the shortcomings of the seat in the test results,the seat structure is optimized in terms of changing the thickness of parts,replacing materials,and adding reinforcements.The optimized new seat structure is subjected to the modal simulation analysis and frontal collision numerical simulation analysis.The results show that the first-order modal frequency of the new seat structure has been significantly improved,and the dynamic performance of the new seat structure has been enhanced.
