Research On The History Of Guilin Urban Planning Based On The Interaction Of City And Landscape(1949-2019)

In the historical process of urban development,city and landscape environment have always coexisted in a system with an interactive relationship,and created different types of cities in various combinations,among which the landscape city model is acknowledged as a city model at all times and in all lands.In ancient China,urban construction was often inseparable from the landscape environment,which was regarded as an indispensable and important part of the city.However,the current urban research tends to deviate from the environmental thought of scenery residence shown by ancient cities.At the same time,with the acceleration of urbanization process,the ecological environment is easy to be ignored in urban construction,and there is a tendency to be replaced by artificial environment.With the gradual decline of regional cultural characteristics,the urban features and characteristics decay step by step,and there is a phenomenon of city convergence.With a history of more than 2000 years,Guilin is a famous international tourist city and historical and cultural city in China.The landscape construction of Guilin has always been interdependent and inseparable with the urban construction.Not only has the protection and utilization of landscape environment become the core idea of urban construction of Guilin,but also the development of its urban and landscape construction plays an important role in the history of urban planning in China.Furthermore,studying the historical process of urban planning in Guilin is of positive significance to the construction of urban characteristics and ecological civilization.In this paper,it takes the theory of Sciences of Human Settlements and theory of City and Landscape Integration as the basis,and the literature research,field investigation and comparative analysis as the research methods.Based on the perspective of city and landscape interaction,this paper divides the urban planning of city and landscape in Guilin after the founding of the People’s Republic of China into three periods: the selection period,the coordination period and the innovation period.In each period,the urban nature,urban structure,urban layout,architectural style and landscape construction are studied,and the relationship between urban development and landscape construction is analyzed in detail.It is found that after the founding of the People’s Republic of China,there are four rules of city and landscape interaction in Guilin,which are "street to street landscape","architectural hidden landscape","urban fusion landscape" and "humanistic intersperse landscape".And thus,the interactive mode of city and landscape with Guilin local characteristics is summarized.At the same time,according to the rule and pattern of city and landscape interaction in Guilin,this paper discusses the current situation and problems of Guilin city,and puts forward the methods to solve the problems and the future development ideas,in order to continue and strengthen the characteristics of Guilin landscape city,provide a theoretical basis for the urban construction of Guilin,and also provide reference for the similar landscape city as Guilin.
