Wenfubo And Construction Of Danjiangkou And Gezhouba Project

Wenfubo has been committed to the Yangtze River Management for a long time.As one of the design directors in the planning,design and construction of Danjiangkou Project and Gezhouba project,he has made outstanding achievements.Danjiangkou Project was built in the era of "great leap forward" movement.Gezhouba project was started in the period of "Cultural Revolution".After the construction of two major projects,quality problems occurred.After the shutdown,the project was reorganized and resumed,and finally completed successfully.After the construction of Danjiangkou Project was stopped due to quality problems,wenfubo led the designers to overcome the difficulties,completed the concrete quality reinforcement and mechanized construction preparation,and met the requirements of dam concrete pouring after the resumption of construction.In the face of the technical problems in the construction of Gezhouba project,wenfubo,in accordance with the requirements of river regime planning,puts forward the proposal of digging out Gezhouba island to meet the layout requirements of "one body and two wings" of the hub;reasonably arrange the number of sluice holes of Erjiang river with the designer to meet the requirements of Erjiang River;and successfully cancel the five hole sluice of Dajiang River,add units,meet the requirements of multiple power generation,and solve the problem Gezhouba project construction has been plagued by a series of problems for the design team.Based on the full collection of documents and historical materials and the reference of previous research results,using the theory and method of historical materialism,this paper starts from summarizing the planning,design and construction organization of wenfubo to participate in and preside over the construction of a series of major water conservancy and hydropower projects in the Yangtze River Basin,focusing on the analysis and discussion of wenfubo in the planning and design of Danjiangkou Project and Gezhouba project Creative contribution of water conservancy engineering technology.It is hoped that from the perspective of an outstanding water conservancy scientist in the major project of harnessing the Yangtze River,it will show the historical process of the new China’s River governance undertaking’s arduous journey and rise,as well as the spirit and character of the older generation of water conservancy scientists who are determined to serve the country in a scientific way.
