Through the visual expression of cultural elements,spirit,symbols,etc.,cultural and creative products give unique aesthetic experience and spiritual enjoyment beyond product functions.In addition to providing free modeling possibilities and customized technical channels,metal 3D printing also has non-metallic materials.The material texture that it does not possess is very suitable for the combined application with cultural and creative products.At present,there are problems in the design of cultural and creative products,such as heavy workload of modifying the program,single program,and high cost of personalized customization.In order to solve these problems,this research combines parametric modeling methods to automatically generate metal cultural and creative products with complex hollow features,and proposes a method that uses algorithms to generate product patterns and meets the requirements of metal 3D printing laser selective melting SLM(Selective Laser Melting)process requirements Parametric modeling method.The main research work and results of this thesis include the following points: 1)Aiming at the problem of low efficiency in modeling of cultural and creative products with complex structures and difficult to modify,this paper is based on the Grasshopper visual parametric modeling platform,using different algorithms to study the parametric modeling method for automatically generating complex hollow pattern features.When modifying,you only need to input Adjust the parameters in the frame to adjust the product preview and output the model;2)In view of the existing process limitations of the SLM process and the problem of adding support,this paper is also based on the Grasshopper platform to develop the function of adding support to the generated model.The structure is verified by simulation analysis through finite element analysis,and the support structure generated by this method can be satisfied Usage requirements.Integrating this function into the modeling tool can better connect the output of product solutions and 3D printing production,and improve the efficiency of the process from design to materialization;3)In design practice,this paper introduces three representative metal 3D printing cultural and creative products designed by the author using parametric modeling,some of which have been sold on the online platform.The results show that the research on the parametric design of metal cultural and creative products based on SLM technology in this paper can provide richer cultural and creative product design styles,more efficiently adapt to metal 3D printing production,reduce design workload,and design cases are recognized by the Customers and markets.
