Research On The Product Form Design Method For User-perception

With the development of the times,the user’s demand for products is becoming more and more personalized,humanized and diversified.Product design oriented by user needs more and more attention.To fully understand and grasp the user’s feeling for the product is very important for the designer,the product designed to meet the user’s emotional needs can stand out in the industry and is widely recognized.However,the user’s description of the product’s emotional needs is often vague and can not be used directly in the design practice.This requires a scientific and effective method to obtain the true inner feelings of the user.Perceptual Engineering is able to use scientific methods to quantify the user’s subjective ideas and subjective ambiguous intentions,which can then be transformed into the design or shape of the product to provide an accurate reference to the designer.Therefore,it is of great significance to study how to use perceptual engineering to acquire the user’s emotional needs and combine them with product form design.On the basis of perceptual engineering,this paper analyzes the methods of acquisition and transformation of perceptual information at present,maps the perceptual information via"transfer design(prototype design)" and product form,and researches the design method of product form oriented to user perception.By defining the morphology of monomers,this paper proposes a method to obtain the basic elements of monomer morphology,and then maps the perception and evaluation of the morphology of monomers to create the basic modeling features so that users can participate in the design and realize the transfer-mapping".Finally,this paper takes the sweeping machine as an example to test the feasibility of this method.
