Research On Activation Design Of Handan Guangfu Ancient City Based On Catalyst Theory

With the continuous rise of the current upsurge of protection and renewal of ancient cities,the development of historical towns has become more and more diversified and formalized.However,the crudeness of development methods and the one-sidedness of the development process have led to the development of protection work facing the material space and spiritual environment.The monotonous,one-sided,chaotic and rigid dilemmas have gradually reduced these ancient cities or towns to "victims" of tourism development.How to effectively and reasonably solve these problems in the protection and renewal process of the ancient city,so that the ancient city can regain its former vitality,is the purpose of this thesis.The ancient city of Handan Guangfu is the third batch of historical and cultural towns in the country,with rich human values and spiritual connotations.In recent years,in the development process,the ancient city has presented problems such as severe damage to the physical space,strong human touch and rich historical and cultural connotations,and the difficulty of functional businesses to meet development needs.This article takes the ancient city of Guangfu in Handan as the research object,summarizes the research on the activation of historical towns and the theory of catalysts,and establishes the correlation between the two.Starting from the environment protected by the ancient city of Guangfu,based on the practice of the renovation and planning of the ancient city of Guangfu,through basic analysis of the five aspects of the ancient city’s architectural status,spatial pattern,characteristic culture,functional structure,and subject cognition,combined with relevant typical case studies The necessity of using catalyst activation in the ancient city of Guangfu.On this basis,the principles of ancient city activation are summarized,namely the principle of pertinence of architectural shaping,the principle of systematic spatial layout,the principle of continuity of regional context,the principle of adaptability of functional structure,and the principle of publicity of subject activities.Next,guided by the activation principle,based on the operating mechanism of catalyst theory,rationally locate the relevant points in the process of catalyst introduction,and summarize the improvement of physical quality,optimization of spatial layout,expression of cultural connotation,and adjustment of functions by the intervention of catalyst elements.Five specific strategies to structure and strengthen the main activities in order to provide a basis for the further catalyst design practice for the activation of the ancient city of Guangfu.Finally,under the guidance of principles and strategies,design and practice the vitality of Handan Guangfu ancient city.This article clarifies the status and characteristics of the catalyst theory in the historical town protection and activation theoretical system;demonstrates the applicability of the catalyst theory to the activation of the ancient city of Guangfu in Handan;proposes the catalyst application strategy in the activation design of the ancient city of Guangfu in Handan;and finally obtains The five aspects of Handan Guangfu Ancient City’s use of catalyst activation,including architectural quality,spatial form,historical context,functional structure,and perception pathways,are listed.The activation design of these aspects can enable the ancient city of Guangfu to realize the urban level in the process of protection and renewal.The overall revival.This study can provide a useful reference for the renewal and activation of the ancient city of Guangfu and other historical towns of the same type.
