Application And Research Of Regional Cultural Elements In Urban Furniture Design

At present,China’s economy is developing rapidly,the quality of people’s living environment is gradually improving,and more attention is paid to the application of regional culture in urban public space.The design of urban furniture in a region can show the cultural characteristics of the region.It also represents the development level of local culture.Therefore,how to express the urban regional cultural characteristics has become one of the main objectives of urban furniture design.It is the purpose of this paper to retain the regional characteristics and integrate the regional cultural elements into the urban furniture design.The urban furniture design which neglects the regional cultural characteristics will reduce the attention to the city,desalinate the urban memory,and gradually produce strangeness to the city.Yunnan Province is a typical minority area,which has a long history and culture and unique minority culture.Based on the study of the regional cultural characteristics of Kunming,this paper analyzes the urban infrastructure such as public seats,trash cans,street lamps and bicycle parking bars on Daguan Road from the urban furniture of Daguan Road in Kunming,and summarizes how to integrate the regional culture into the urban furniture design of Daguan Road and design the urban furniture reflecting the regional cultural characteristics.Through the field investigation on the geography and human environment of Daguanlu in Xishan District of Kunming City,the author analyzes,induces and summarizes the data,and finds out the problems existing in Daguanlu City Furniture.Through the study of the regional culture of Kunming," Changlian Culture ",the elements reflecting the main characteristics of Daguanlou are extracted,extracted and combined into the design of Daguanlu urban furniture,and how to embody the characteristics of "Changlian Culture" from the expression of shape,color and material is the focus of this paper.This can not only reflect the overall image of the city,but also deepen the impression of the city.
