Research On Typical Decorative Elements Of Mazu Cultural Architecture

One of the important contents of Mazu culture research is to study the typical decorative elements of its architecture.This paper focuses on the typical decoration elements of Mazu culture in northern China.Through a large number of field investigation,analysis and comparison of Mazu cultural buildings in this area and surrounding areas,a large number of pictures with research significance are taken,and the main characteristics of typical decoration elements of Mazu cultural buildings are sorted out,and the similarities and differences of typical decoration elements of Mazu cultural buildings in different regions are sorted out.It is hoped that this research can fill in the blind spot of this research topic,To provide some information for more researchers.The important contents of this paper are the origin and inheritance of Mazu culture,the representative status quo distribution of Mazu cultural buildings,the typical architectural decoration of Mazu cultural buildings,the interior furnishings of Mazu cultural buildings,and the social functions of typical decorative arts of Mazu cultural buildings.The author combines the field research,book information inquiry and other means to investigate the subject,hoping that readers have a clearer view and understanding of the typical decorative elements of Mazu cultural buildings.The typical decorative elements of architecture in Mazu culture have an inseparable relationship with its social functions,such as wood carving,brick carving,interior furnishings,etc.we can see the cultural precipitation and unique aesthetic characteristics of Chinese culture in the past thousand years.From the perspective of social development,we should draw the essence from the typical decorative elements of Mazu culture building on the basis of the folk decoration content of the Chinese nation,and integrate the contents of Mazu culture into modern architectural design,and enrich the details of modern decorative design.
