| How to inherit and spread architectural culture of Yi minority, showing its unique design, and the innovative application in modern design of architectural decorations,become hot issues nowadays studied by many designers. But in practice, the elements of Yi traditional architectural culture are often ignored, which but is relatively important and is able to create the artistic atmosphere of decoration and the cultural quality. Its unique feature of cultural elements of national architecture is usually difficult to grasp and apply in modern design of architectural decoration. The main purpose of this article is how to analysis and research the cultural elements, which is a sedimentary accretion of Yi Building over long history, and then apply them modern design of architectural decoration.These elements and modern architectural design have similarities and similarities. This paper mainly uses the field investigation, comparison, induction,illustrations and other research methods and to author research in different regions of the Yi nationality architectural culture elements based research, through to these areas Yi Building and existing imitation Yi building shape, surface decorative pattern,decorative surface color and the internal structure of the function and application of the related research.The main problem is the neglect of the cultural elements of the Yi Building and the use of innovation..And at the same time because of the lack of the systematic analysis to the applications of Yi architectural culture elements, the serious formalism problem of simply copy and stuffing of the elements in design of new decoration. All these problems directly lead to the missing of its unique expression in application of these elements. The application of Yi architectural culture elements in modern architectural decoration design should not just be an kind of imitation by single art discipline, but rather be comprehensively analyzed by variety of disciplines.It is of great significance for the protection, inheritance and innovation of the Yi culture.This paper tries to absorb the excellence of Yi architectural culture elements, and tries to explore the innovative expression of the elements in modern application of new material and the new technologies in architectural decoration based on the modern architectural decoration design, cherishing the spirit of criticism, using methods of Refining, combining, drawing principle by analysis and research of the appearance of the building, pattern and colors of the architectural finishes, usage and functions of inside building structure. This paper will also focus on the detail design of the elements and summarize the range of application and general methods of theelements in modern architectural decoration design. Lastly by analyzing existing cases will the relevant theories be verified. We expect this paper have some reference value. |
