Study On The Design Of Community Garden In The Central Urban Area Of Beijing Based On Food Urbanism

In recent years,with the rapid development of Beijing,the city image and spatial quality have been significantly improved,but the original cultivated land has been reduced year by year due to the transformation into construction land.The process of urbanization is becoming more and more serious.With more and more people living in cities,more and more food is needed every day.In recent years,due to the renovation of the city appearance and appearance in Beijing,a large number of vegetable markets and agricultural markets have been replaced,which has greatly reduced the channels for citizens to get food.Although the development of logistics industry makes up for the source of food to a certain extent,it also increases the food mileage,which is not conducive to the sustainable development of the environment.This paper first combs the background and related concepts of food urbanism and community agriculture,summarizes and analyzes the successful practice cases at home and abroad,and then puts forward a food production mode combining community garden and community agriculture which is suitable for Chinese communities.Secondly,it conducts on-the-spot investigation,data collection and preliminary analysis on the selected typical communities in the central area of Beijing,Mainly through the cat’s eye quadrant small program platform,this paper summarizes and analyzes the whole green space pattern and the current situation of all kinds of space in the community;Combined with field research,draw a quarter of an hour food map circle in the community,and make statistics and Analysis on the source of food in each community and the difficulty of residents to get all kinds of food,so as to provide a basis for the design and selection of plant species in the community garden.After full investigation and analysis,the collected data and information are combined with software analysis to find out the potential space available in the community,including the size,location and type of space,and the excavated space is sorted,classified and summarized.Finally,under the guidance of the concept of food urbanism,after fully excavating the potential space in the field,we adopt the corresponding planting methods for different types of space,select the appropriate planting varieties,use the correct management mode,and carry out the transformation design for different types of space,so as to provide a unique design mode for each kind of space.Hope to provide a good reference for various types of communities in the central urban area of Beijing and the space transformation design in the community.
