Urban Public Space Design Based On Food Urbanism Strategy

With the acceleration of urbanization and the rapid growth of urban population,the city has become more dependent on the input of food,water and energy,and gradually become a single material consumer and garbage collector,while consuming more resources than ever before.Problems such as linear metabolism,garbage siege,water pollution,air pollution,and excessive food mileage have become chronic problems in the city.In recent years,international discussions on "food urbanism" have become fro ntier topics.The promotion of a sustainable urban food system to promote the sustainable development of cities has gradually attracted attention from the human settlements discipline.Based on the related theories and practices of Western food urbanism,this paper selects urban public space as the research object,discusses the necessity and feasibility of the research,and discusses the urban public strategy under the food urbanism strategy from three aspects: space type,recycling technology and operation management.Space design strategy.Through the selection of real city open space plots,virtual construction conditions,specific form design,and finally access to quantitative research data,the feasibility of the design strategy is verified.This article is divided into six chapters.The first chapter is an introduction,which mainly expounds the background of the topic,research review,concept definition,research purpose and significance,research methods and innovations.The second chapter discusses the necessity and feasibility of urban public space design under the strategy of food urbanism.The third chapter proposes the urban public space design strategy under the food urbanism strategy from three aspects: public space system,circular technology model and operation management model.The fourth chapter analyzes existing foreign related cases and summarizes experiences in order to better guide food urbanism in our country.The fifth chapter is the research design.Taking Lixia Cultural Square in Lixia District of Jinan City as an example,the research design is combined with the design strategy proposed in the previous article.The feasibility of the design strategy is verified to a certain extent by means of scenario simulation.The sixth chapter summarizes the conclusions and deficiencies of the paper,and puts forward expectations for the development and follow-up study of urban public space design under the strategy of food urbanism.This paper hopes to explore the urban public space design strategy that suits China's na-tional conditions through the analysis of food urbanism related theories and practices,in order to improve the urban material circulation system,enhance the living environment of urban residents,and further stimulate the vitality of the city.Sustainable development of urban ecology explores a feasible ways.
