Research On The Design For Constant-Holistic Shadow Space Based On The Diversity Among People’s Activities In Hot-Summer Areas

The high temperature and humidity in summer in hot areas of China has a long duration,which greatly affects the thermal comfort of outdoor space.Today,when people are increasingly always outdoors,actively and effectively creating adequate and spatiotemporal shade space has become one of the goals that should be actively pursued,but can be relatively fixed in place and scope,it is an important way to achieve this goal to create a 111 space which is in shadow for a certain period of time.However,in the face of the various differences in space-time demand reflected by different crowds and outdoor activity types,a differentiated Constant-holistic Shadow Space construction must be carried out,in order to outdoor crowd activity space to meet People’s needs for the shadow space fine,so as to further enhance the outdoor space in summer thermal comfort quality and improve summer utilization.At present,although the related research and practice have made some exploration on the use of summer outdoor shadow,there has not been a systematic and in-depth study based on the Constant-holistic Shadow Space construction.Therefore,based on the analysis and summary of the differences in physiology,psychology and behavior patterns of different groups and the differences in space-time demands of different outdoor activities,this paper analyzes the feasibility and space-time modes of Constant-holistic Shadow Space;spatial differentiation,the Constant-holistic Shadow Space satisfying mechanism for different demands is explored,the corresponding design principles and design strategies are expounded,and the Constant-holistic Shadow Space designing methods are established to meet the demands of typical crowd types and their related activities.In this way,we can form Constant-holistic Shadow Space construction method architecture,general design principle and strategy,and Constant-holistic Shadow Space design basic method which can effectively meet the different demands of summer crowd and activity type.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows:1.The outdoor activities of summer crowds in hot summer areas are in addition to the common need of seeking shade,which expects the spatial scale to be in line with the size and mode of activities of the crowds and does not need to move frequently during the activities,there are also differences in physical,psychological and behavioral patterns that are reflected by the population’s ability to move,“height”;,health status,age and occupation,as well as the activity type,scale,the way and so on different reflection in the space-time demand difference,these two aspects difference,displays in the summer outdoor shadow space demand different degree difference;On the basis of Constant-holistic Shadow Space can effectively adapt to people’s common need for seeking shade,we should deal with the above differences.2.The relatively large differences related to the characteristics of the population can be divided into different types such as activity ability,body height,health status,age,occupation,etc But the obvious differences related to the activity characteristics can be distinguished from the scale,form and space of activity,and the different types of activity groups and activities have different characteristics of the space-time demand of the shadow space,the Constant-holistic Shadow Space has a good adaptability to the two different requirements,and is mainly adapted by the appropriate "constant total shadow"space formed by the appropriate treatment of the Constant-holistic Shadow Space shadow and the shadow surface.3.Different types of structured shadow body through its shape,size,orientation,surround degree,permeability and other elements of the of space-time analysis,responding to local conditions,minimizing incremental construction,not reducing other aspects of rationality and seeking common ground while reserving differences and compatibility In the "point,line and surface"shape of the difference type characteristic and the activity type related space,we adopt the pertinence design strategy.5.In the design of differentiated Constant-holistic Shadow Space,in addition to the need to consider the space-time requirements of the shadow space for specific population types and specific activity types,it is also necessary to pay attention to the conditions and requirements of the Constant-holistic Shadow Space needed in the environment space for a particular Crowd-activity combination,so as to make it fully adapt to the site conditions.6.Taking the patients,students and children as examples,this paper concretely expounds the combination of their respective multi-activity types and the Constant-holistic Shadow Space design method of the space types of the typical environment in which they live,the result shows that the Constant-holistic Shadow Space can be constructed to meet the space condition and requirement of the environment and the shadow space-time requirement of the Crowd-activity.
