Research On The Renewal Of Public Space In Baiwanzhuang Community From The Perspective Of Heritage Protection

As the cell of the city,the community not only carries out the basic operation of the city,but also contains the unique city gene.The old community is the witness of urban history,which contains rich urban historical and cultural information and has important heritage protection value.To a certain extent,the quality of its public space reflects the overall style and cultural connotation of the city.But in the process of urban renewal,most of them pay attention to the promotion of the use value of public space in the old community,and lack of protection for the heritage value of public space in the old community.Bai Wan Zhuang community,as a typical representative of the old community,the special background of its construction period has an important impact on its spatial layout,functional division,overall style,community culture,etc.,and the heritage value of its public space is self-evident.From the perspective of heritage protection,this paper makes an exploratory research on the protection and renewal of the public space in Bai Wan Zhuang community.The key contents of the research are: the research on the heritage value of the public space in Bai Wan Zhuang community,the analysis of the current spatial conditions and the research on the protection and renewal strategies.Firstly,this paper summarizes and analyzes the development,public space characteristics and value of the architectural heritage community in the 20 th century.Through the architectural heritage community in the 20 th century,we can see the renewal process and spatial characteristics of the public space in Bai Wan Zhuang community.On this basis,we can explore the typicality of the public space in Bai Wan Zhuang community.The heritage value of public space in Bai Wan Zhuang community can be divided into historical,scientific,artistic,cultural and social values.The core bearing elements of its value are the planning layout,spatial scale and spatial interface of public space.According to the analysis of the heritage value of the public space in Bai Wan Zhuang community,combined with the summary and analysis of the current situation of the public space in Bai Wan Zhuang community,this paper,from the perspective of heritage protection,classifies the protected objects according to the carrying level of the heritage value of the space elements and the current conditions,and divides them into three categories: key protected objects,general protected objects and renovation objects.Based on the classification of spatial elements,the protection framework and update framework are constructed respectively,and the content of protection and update is defined.According to the principles of authenticity,integrity,sustainability and humanization,this paper puts forward the protection and renewal strategies of public space in Bai Wan Zhuang community from four aspects: preservation and restoration,improvement and upgrading,renovation and construction of renewal mechanism.This paper attempts to explore the protection and renewal strategies that can coordinate the inheritance of urban context and the improvement of spatial quality,create the community public space with cultural characteristics,and retain the memory of the city.
