Abstract/Summary:
Under the interaction of different factors such as the surrounding natural environment,economic development and local culture,the present ancient villages state a unique form and composition characteristics.The research on its own development characteristics and growth mechanism is of great value for the protection,active utilization of ancient villages’ historical landscape.At present,there are problems such as deterioration of the living environment,loss of local culture,and chaotic landscape in rural areas of China.In the planning of ancient villages,there are problems of refining local traditional cultural elements,improper protection of historical remains,and constructive destruction.With the strategic implementation of beautiful villages and rural revitalization,people gradually realized the importance of local cultural heritage for rural revitalization and development.In the protection planning of ancient villages,it is necessary to implement reasonable measures to shape the vitality of ancient villages,improve the quality of villages,and continue the context of the protection of the authenticity,integrity,and sustainability of historical and cultural relics.Qianyu Village belongs to Gulin Town,Haishu District,Ningbo City.It is the third batch of city-level historical and cultural villages in Ningbo.The village has historical and cultural resources such as ancestral halls and characteristic dwellings during the late Qing and early Republican periods.This article uses the analysis method of human settlement theory.On the one hand,it analyzes in detail the composition and space use characteristics and reuse value of the five elements of rural settlements(nature,people,society,supporting networks,and buildings);Learn the growth mechanism of the life cycle,and conduct a colonization pathology study on the village’s physical space.The study found that Qianyu Village had problems such as aging settlement,abnormal growth,changes in functional criteria,and wrong measures,which caused chaotic architectural styles,lack of vitality in the village center,deterioration of public space environment quality,and low utilization rate of public buildings.Finally,it puts forward targeted strategies for inheriting the ancient village ontology,combing the streets and lanes,inheriting and optimizing the functions of the center,and promoting the development of rural tourism through the utilization of historical and cultural heritage to promote the development of rural tourism.The thesis is composed of five chapters: The first chapter is an introduction,which mainly explains the background,research purpose and significance of the topic of the thesis,and puts forward research methods and content framework.The second chapter analyzes the source,core content and research progress of human settlement theory,and summarizes the relevant theories and practical experiences of the protection and activation of ancient villages at home and abroad.The third chapter is based on the investigation of the current situation,using the research method of human settlement theory to analyze the settlement characteristics of ancient villages in Qianyu Village in detail,and conducts a pathological study on settlement in the physical space of Qianyu Village.It summarizes the historical and cultural resource conditions and characteristics of the current status of Qianyu Village,as well as the problems existing in the physical space of Qianyu Village and the causes of the problems.According to the analysis and research in Chapter 3,Chapter 4 proposes targeted activation and utilization strategies for each component of Qianyu Village.Chapter 5 is a summary of the research content and the deficiencies in the paper.
