Electric Power Research Institute of Hainan Power Grid Co.,Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as "EPRIH")is the executive agency of comprehensive scientific research and test of Hainan Power Grid Co.,Ltd.The main responsibilities of EPRIH are technical application and research in electric power and related fields.EPRIH is the center of technical support,technical service,technology promotion,test detection and talent training of Hainan Power Grid Co.,Ltd.It is an important technical support unit of Hainan Power Grid Co.,Ltd and a scientific research and testing institution providing technical support for Hainan power system.EPRIH has set up a smart grid Institute to carry out the test and application of smart distribution network and micro grid technology for comprehensive utilization of new energy.Over the past 40 years of reform and opening,China’s economy has been developing at a sustained and high speed.Today,China has become the most influential emerging economy in the world,and its achievements have attracted worldwide attention.At the same time,China’s social and economic development still has many problems to be solved.The third round of electric power system reform is one of the important measures to deepen the reform and opening in an all-round way.The original profit model of "purchase and sale price difference" of power grid enterprises has been directly broken,and the profit model of "permitted cost + reasonable income" has been changed.The profit space of enterprises has been further compressed,and the pressure of enterprises’ operation in the future has increased sharply.Since 2018,with the introduction of the Guiding Opinions on Supporting Hainan to Comprehensively Deepen the Reform and Opening up and The Overall Plan for Hainan to Build a Free Trade Port,the strategic measures of building a free trade port in Hainan have brought new development opportunities for Hainan power grid enterprises.The construction of provincial smart grid provides a golden opportunity for the faster and better development of Hainan Electric Power Research Institute.With the coming of the 14 th five year plan,it is urgent for EPRIH to formulate its development strategy,so as to provide a solid guarantee for overcoming the challenges of power system reform and seizing the construction opportunities of free trade port.In this paper,the theory and analysis methods of enterprise strategic management are applied to the construction of development strategy of EPRIH under the background of a new round of electric power system reform.Through the in-depth analysis of the internal and external environment of the enterprise and the existing resource conditions,the future development strategy of EPRIH is found,which enriches the research on the development strategy of power grid enterprises from the practical application,and constructs in line with the reality The strategic framework for the development of power grid technology enterprises is needed.
