| In December 2019,the sudden COVID-19 epidemic caused a serious impact on China’s economy and society.Home furnishing companies are facing more difficult problems such as suspension of work and production,blocked sales channels,and weak product competitiveness.Digital transformation is the only way for the industrial economy to move towards the digital economy.Digital enterprises can gain obvious advantages in market competition.The outbreak of the COVID-19 epidemic has accelerated the pace of digital transformation of enterprises to a certain extent.Healthcare Co.,Ltd.(MBH Home Furnishing for short)is the hidden champion in the field of memory foam mattresses in China.About 80% of its revenue comes from oversea market.Affected by factors such as the US government’s increase in tariffs and the COVID-19 epidemic,digitalization transformation of MBH Home Furnishing becomes urgent.This article takes MBH Home Furnishing as the research object.The main work is as follows:(1)Summarize the research results in the fields of company strategic transformation,digital transformation and capability maturity model,point out the deficiencies of existing research,and put forward the research ideas of this article.(2)Briefly introduced the general information of MBH Home Furnishing,the status quo of digital transformation,the motivations and influencing factors of digital transformation and summarized the path of MBH Home Furnishing digital transformation and the impact of digital transformation on MBH Home Furnishing.(3)Based on the principles of scientificity,completeness,independence,objectivity and operability,the level of digital maturity is divided into digital importers,digital improvers,digital changers,digital experts,and digital leaders.MBH Home Furnishing digital maturity evaluation index system is composed of 4 first-level indicators,12second-level indicators,and 27 third-level indicators including strategy,organizational culture,operation management and technical foundation.AHP is used to evaluate MBH Home Furnishing digital maturity then do the analysis and evaluation according to the results.(4)Based on the evaluation results,analyze the deficiencies in the digital transformation of MBH Home Furnishing,and put forward targeted suggestions in terms of organization,culture,international procurement & supply chain,and cloud service use.This article takes MBH Home Furnishing as an example to carry out the research on digital transformation evaluation,theoretically supplements and perfects the research on the digital transformation evaluation of international home furnishing enterprises based on the capability maturity model,and practically it provides MBH Home Furnishing and traditional home furnishing enterprises new ideas on the digital transformation and optimization of the company. |
