Research On Space Construction Of Funeral Parlor In Leshan City From The Perspective Of Regional Culture

With the continuous development of society,China’s population is aging,and the number of deaths is increasing every year.The public’s demand for funeral services is increasing.The Ministry of Civil Affairs of China has been actively promoting the funeral reform in China.As an important architectural type of funeral reform,contemporary funeral parlor architecture design has also attracted the architect’s special attention.The relatively monotonous architectural styles and slightly dull atmosphere of some built funeral parlors in China can no longer satisfy the public’s pursuits of the funeral parlor space quality and the requirements of the national funeral reform.On the one hand,due to restrictions on the understanding of the view of life and death and funeral culture;on the other hand,due to the lack of regional cultural expression,funeral parlors are the same everywhere,and lack characteristics.How to integrate regional culture into the funeral parlor to construct a humanistic care architectural space is the research direction of this article.The thesis takes Leshan funeral parlor design as a starting point,discusses the method of funeral parlor space construction from the perspective of regional culture through case studies,field investigations and design practices,hoping to provide some constructive ideas for the construction of contemporary funeral parlor space in China.First,it analyzes the space status of some built funeral parlor in China,summarizes the current status of some built funeral parlor space in China and analyzes the reasons,and puts forward the view of constructing funeral parlor space from the perspective of regional culture.After that,it analyzes the regional culture and the spatial construction of contemporary funeral parlors,so as to analyze the relevant factors such as regional funeral culture and regional form that have a significant impact on the funeral parlor construction space.Then,based on the actual project as a starting point,the basic theoretical research on the regional culture of Leshan was carried out.Starting from the funeral culture,the spatial form and characteristics of the cliff tombs in Han Dynasty in Leshan,the funeral ceremonies in Leshan and the view of Leshan’s life and death are discussed.At the same time,related research on Leshan’s representative local culture "Big Buddha Culture" was carried out,which provided a basis for the space construction of the funeral parlor in Leshan.Finally,I analyzed the funeral parlor project that the author participated in——Leshan Funeral Parlor Relocation and City People’s Cemetery Extension Project,further studied the expression of regional culture in the funeral parlor space from a practical point of view,and based on this,summarized the space construction strategy of the funeral parlor from the perspective of regional culture.The full text is about 46788 words,147 pictures and 7 charts.
