Abstract/Summary:
The cab is the control center of metro vehicles and the working space for the driver to obtain information, make decisions and complete various tasks. The rationality of its ergonomic design and environmental design plays a key role in the driving work. With the development of the related technology of the rail transit industry in China, the relevant courses of driving environment design have gradually become one of the teaching focuses of the major transportation universities. At present,in the teaching process related to Metro driving environment and human-computer interface design, due to the limitations of conditions, ordinary people are usually difficult to access to the real cab, while the cost of the simulation driver is high, which makes it difficult for students to carry out the experiment of actual observation and operation experience, which has a great impact on the teaching quality of such courses. In view of the above problems, this paper summarizes the relevant teaching contents of Metro driving environment design, and develops a visual, operable, understandable and interactive open virtual simulation experiment by combining virtual simulation technology. The virtual simulation experiment can make students experience the relevant operation in the subway cab and participate in the design of driving environment independently by establishing a three-dimensional virtual driving space model and the substitutive human-computer interaction,so as to greatly improve the students’ understanding and mastery of the knowledge of driving interface and human-computer adaptation.Firstly, the paper combs the related factors of subway driving environment design, and extracts the core theories, including the layout design of operation interface, the design of human-machine dimension of driving environment, and the design of visual elements of driving environment as the starting point and supporting theory of virtual experiment.Aiming at the virtual experiment in this project, the feasibility analysis, user analysis and performance analysis are carried out from the technology and user level.Based on the analysis results, the core requirements of experimental courses are summarized, and the process and basic structure of experimental courses are planned according to the requirements.Secondly, aiming at two-dimensional interface and three-dimensional scene, the interaction framework and operation framework in the virtual simulation experiment of Metro driving environment are studied.Based on the six principles of interaction design, the interaction design framework of layout, operation interaction and operation feedback in two-dimensional interface,as well as the interaction design scheme in three-dimensional scene such as roaming operation and simulation interaction in line with physical reality are proposed. Finally, combined with the course tasks and user needs of the experimental course, the whole experimental platform is divided into three sub courses, and the course architecture is designed respectively.Through multi style testing and research, the visual design style of the experimental platform is developed and integrated into the course interface framework, and the overall design scheme of the virtual simulation experiment is finally produced. The virtual simulation experiment platform can effectively solve the problems of site and boring in the teaching of related knowledge of Metro driving environment design,so that students can understand the relevant design knowledge of Metro driving environment in their own experience and improve the teaching quality.
