| During the development and evolution of the traditional Yi farmhouses in Ebian County, the setting of doors and windows is the result of comprehensive influences of climate, geography, living habits, cultural practices, etc. At the present stage, the construction of some farm houses is lacking of more reasonable and effective theoretical guidance. The rural house design is more to consider the settlement layout form from a macro perspective, and less to the architectural level of the meso, especially to micro-architectural components such as doors and windows. Therefore,This has caused some problems such as uncomfortableness, inapplicability, and surface characteristics of some farm houses. Therefore,it’s necessary to provide guidance for the design of farmhouse doors and windows with a theory that is more suitable for the current situation of Yi nationality in Ebian County, and to conduct research on farmhouses from a more micro perspective to promote the improvement of the above problems. This paper takes the design of doors and windows as the research object, based on the concept of in-suit,to meet the current needs of farm houses to improve the livability of farm houses, enhance residents’ identity and promote the organic continuation of traditional culture. This paper divides the research object into three parts for analysis. The first part(Chapter 2)is the research background of related background and local theory.Firstly, the characteristics of farmhouse doors and windows were analyzed, and the basic situation of Yi nationality area in Ebian County and its impact on farmhouse doors and windows were interpreted. Then, the theory of in-suit was introduced into the design of farmhouse doors and windows.Based on the analysis of in-suit and similar theories,it is found that it has three characteristics: adapting to local conditions, caring for humanities, and advancing with the times, which is consistent with the existing problems of doors and windows of Yi’s rural houses in Ebian County. The second part(Chapter 3 to Chapter 4)is the chapter of the investigation and local analysis of Yi farmhouses and their windows and doors in Ebian County.First, through field surveys, interviews, and questionnaire surveys, the existing farm houses in Ebian County of Ebian County from the 1950 s to the present day were classified and investigated.Secondly,it analyzes the relationship between farmhouse doors and windows and the natural environment, cultural customs and living habits at three different stages.Thirdly, through the above analysis, the general law of the development and evolution of doors and windows, the experience of traditional farmhouse doors and windows, and the main problems of current farmhouse doors and windows are obtained. The third part(Chapter 5)puts forward the in-suit theory design principles and methods for the doors and windows of the Yi’s rural houses in Ebian County.Starting from the status quo of farmhouse doors and windows, combining in-suit theory characteristics and research and analysis results, this paper proposes three design principles for the doors and windows combination in-suit theory, and based on this, from the three levels of micro, meso and macro,it puts forward the design strategies of the doors and windows of rural houses, which mainly includes three aspects: responsive design of site environment, caring design of main needs and relevance design of cultural context. To sum up,this paper aims to explore the design methods and strategies of doors and windows of Yi people ’s rural houses in Ebian County, combined with the guidance of in-suit concepts, starting from the three aspects of site environment, residents ’needs, and cultural context.from windows and doors design selection(micro view),farm house windows and doors(middle view)and farm house layout(macro view)three aspects put forward corresponding design suggestions to solve the main problems and further realize the in-suit of doors, windows and farm houses. It is expected to provide design ideas for Ebian Yi People’s farmhouses and their doors and windows, and provide some design references for similar areas. |
