| Automobile industry is related to the whole economy closely as a pillar constituent part.Although the domestic automobile industry has gained a certain status in the international market since the beginning of the 21 st century,lacking of core technology has been the fundamental reason to restrain its development.In the meantime,agglomeration development has become the main mode of automobile industry in China since its development has strong centralization effect.Hence,it is necessary to analyze and discuss the agglomeration and technological innovation development level of China’s automobile,which are two important forces in the development of China’s automobile industry.Furthermore,there is interaction between industrial agglomeration and technology innovation.In order to upgrading domestic automobile industry from large to strong industrial,the research aims to explore the coupling mechanism between industrial agglomeration and technology innovation in domestic automobile industry.Based on external economies of scale theory and industry innovation theory as the instruction,the research addresses the coupling relationship of industrial agglomeration and technology innovation.Combining the combination of quantitative analysis,theoretical analysis and empirical analysis methods,this research discusses the coupling mechanism between industrial agglomeration and technology innovation firstly.Then it builds the coupling model of two systems and studies the coupling development of automobile industry in 15 provinces and municipalities of China’s six major automobile industry clusters in the past five years.The research draws conclusions in three aspect.Firstly,there is close coupling relationship between industrial agglomeration and the technological innovation,which function through the interaction of industrial agglomeration externalities,the polarization and diffusion effect of growth pole and the spillover effect of technological knowledge mainly.Secondly,the progress of automobile industry cluster and the development of technology innovation in most areas is unbalanced.Among them,the industrial agglomeration level is superior to the technological innovation level and the drawback of the automobile industry in different industrial clusters is diversified.Thirdly,the problems in the coupling development of China’s automobile industry need to be improved from the aspects of technology innovation,industrial structure adjustment as well as talent and enterprise training.This paper studies the interaction between industrial agglomeration and technological innovation and the mechanism of coupling and coordination,enriches and perfects the research on the theory of industrial innovation system and the development theory of automobile industry.At the same time,it provides the optimization direction for the development of China’s automobile industry cluster,and puts forward some policy suggestions to promote the coupling and coordinated development of China’s automobile industry. |
