With the development of intelligent manufacturing,Digital Twin(DT)technology,as an important technology to realize intelligent manufacturing,has become a hot research direction.In view of the disunity of the definition standard of DT in the domestic and foreign manufacturing industry,and the lack of research and application in Flexible Manufacturing Line(FML)based on digital twin technology,this paper based on the characteristics of FML and DT technology,researches and develops a virtual simulation system of FML driven by digital twin.The main research results of this paper are as follows:1.This paper analyzed the development requirements of virtual simulation system of FML,designs the virtual simulation system architecture of DT driven flexible production line,and introduced the module composition and key technologies of the system.2.Based on the feature analysis of FML and the modeling research of DT framework,a DT framework for FML is proposed.The framework consists of physical entity layer,twin model layer,twin data layer,application service layer and connection transport layer,and the composition and connection of each level are explained in this paper.3.According to the DT framework of FML,the core layer twin model layer is constructed,and the specific construction method is given.The twin model layer is constructed from the four dimensions of geometry physics,attribute information,behavior logic and constraint rules respectively from the atomic level,unit level and system level.For the geometric physical model,it mainly includes the description of physical layer in the aspect of geometric physics;Attribute information is described from basic attribute,component information and connection attribute;For behavior logic,it can be divided into operation logic model and operation science model;Constraint rules are constructed from process constraint rules,process constraint rules,production decision rules,evaluation and deduction rules and industry standard rules.4.The construction of other levels under the DT framework is introduced.The composition and data connection of the twin data layer are introduced,and the database management requirements are analyzed,and the scheme for data design is given;The construction method of the transmission connection layer is studied,the scheme of data connection is given,and the data connection method of the flexible production line is introduced;Based on the development requirements of the system,each application service of the application service layer is explained and the implementation scheme is given.5.Digital twin-drive virtual simulation system for FML is developed.In this paper,a typical FML is selected to verify the system on site.
