The optimization of the stop locations and timetable for transit lines enables the transit systems to save the infrastructure and operation costs under the premise of meeting passenger demand. However, the optimal designs derived from the traditional analytical models(specifically the continuum models)often fail to account for realistic constraints, and may result in stop locations at places without physical or political possibility of locating a transit stop(e.g.,in the area of signal intersections). In order to provide an implementable design scheme, this paper proposes a model combining continuous approximation, dynamic programming algorithm, and Net Logo simulation. An analytical solution of the optimal station density function and departure interval is obtained by using the bus route optimization continuous model. Then, the obtained optimal site density function is discretized. The method is to integrate the site density function and lay out the site at the midpoint of the integral evaluation;check the discretized site position to unsuitable sites The position is adjusted to the nearest position(to meet the actual constraints),and it becomes the offset station to be further determined.Net Logo simulation and dynamic planning algorithms were used to optimize the offset sites, and the optimal layout schemes of the offset sites were obtained and compared. The main research contents and conclusions are as follows:(1)Net Logo simulation modeling of bus lines, established four types of agents:bus vehicles, bus stations, traffic lights and travellers, interactive designbetween the agents, traffic lights are added to the simulation to make the bus line simulation More practical.Six offset stations were shifted 50m from left to right, and 64 types of station offset schemes were simulated to obtain the optimal offset scheme and generalized system cost.(2)The dynamic programming algorithm is used to model the bus routes, with the generalized system cost optimal as the goal. The 6 offset stations in the example are offset 50-100m to the left or right, and are set at 10m intervals. For the alternative stations, the model was solved by sequential solution method. The optimal migration scheme and generalized system cost were obtained and compared with the Net Logo simulation method to verify the feasibility of the bus line optimization method used in this paper.
