With the development of traffic construction,many asphalt pavements need to be repair every year.In order to prevent early road diseases and extend the service life of the road,the development of emulsified asphalt mixture technology is an inevitable trend in the development of pavement maintenance.However,the quality of emulsified asphalt significantly affects the performance of emulsified asphalt mixture.Emulsified asphalt with a single modifier has been difficult to meet China’s growing traffic demand and environmental requirements in special regions.Therefore,if a high-performance The compound modified emulsified asphalt has far-reaching significance for the the development of emulsified asphalt mixture technology In this paper,polymer composite modified emulsified asphalt was prepared with water-based polymer modified materials,and the road performance of modified emulsified asphalt mixture was studied.The main texts and results are as shown below:First,this paper uses water-based polyurethane(WPU)and SH solution two modifiers and Novabond emulsified asphalt,SBS modified emulsified asphalt,SBR modified emulsified asphalt three modified emulsified asphalt to prepare composite modified emulsified asphalt,emulsified Carry out three major index tests on asphalt evaporation residues to study the performance changes of modified emulsified asphalt,and study the effect of modifier content on the adhesion performance of composite modified emulsified asphalt through the water boiling method test,and comprehensively consider the modification effects of two modifiers,Propose the appropriate amount of modifier.Then,by modifying the Marshall design method,the blending ratio design of SBS and SBR modified emulsified asphalt mixture was carried out The test uses AC-10 grading to explore the mixing water consumption,molding method,and maintenance conditions of the mixture,and the modified Marshall test is used to finally determine the optimal oil-rock ratio of the modified emulsified asphalt mixture.The water stability performance of different modified mixtures was evaluated by the immersion Marshall test,the Fort Kent scattering test,and the long-term immersion testFinally,through the gradation design of the mixture at the micro-surface,the three modified micro-surfaces of SBS,WPU-SBS,SH-SBS are modified by the wet wheel wear test,the load wheel sand test,the rut deformation test,and the surface structure depth test.The wear resistance,water damage resistance,rutting resistance and slip resistance of the mixture were studiedThe results show that the modification of waterborne polyurethane and SH solution can improve the high and low temperature performance of emulsified asphalt,and the addition of both modifiers can effectively improve the adhesion ability of emulsified asphalt and aggregates.The mixture prepared from modified emulsified asphalt has excellent resistance to water damage and looseness,and the modification effect of SH solution is superior to water-based polyurethane.The polymer modified emulsified asphalt has good road performance and economic benefits,and has broad application prospects in future road construction. |
