In recent years, with the vigorous promotion of the construction of urban public transport integration system with the rail transit system as the backbone, rail transit will shoulder more urban travel and transportation responsibilities.Rail transit has the characteristics of large volume, high speed and small delay, but it can only realize the transportation from "station" to "station".In order to complete a complete track trip,it is necessary to combine other modes of transportation to form a "door" to "door" travel chain. As the connecting platform between rail transit and other transportation modes, urban rail transit station undertakes the function of collecting and distributing rail passenger flow and attracting passenger flow around the track. The corresponding rail transit station connection status directly affects the rail transit function and the external accessibility of the rail station.Based on the analysis of the basic theories of rail transit connection, the whole process travel chain, travel behavior and the external accessibility of rail stations, this paper takes into account the objective conditions of rail travel and the subjective preference of travelers to select the influencing factors of connection mode selection. The survey method of RP/SP is adopted to construct the explicit and latent variable attributes of the urban rail transit station connection mode selection model,in which the attitude perception attribute is added to improve the previous research.Taking the rail transit station in Xi’an as an example,a questionnaire survey was carried out to carry out descriptive statistical analysis and reliability and validity test on the characteristics of all kinds of samples.Based on the random utility theory,an urban rail station connection mode selection SEM-MNL model integrating structural equation model and multiple Logit model is proposed. The parameters of the model are estimated and tested by AMOS and SPSS software, and the marginal effects of the parameters are analyzed to quantify the influence degree of characteristic variables of rail transit station connection mode selection intention.According to the principle of utility equivalence of the connection mode in the constructed SEM-MNL model, the connection range of the rail station is determined, the cumulative opportunity method is introduced to measure the acquisition of the traffic infrastructure within the connection range of the rail station, and the external accessibility model of the rail station is established. The track station of Xi’an library is selected as the implementation object of the external accessibility promotion strategy, and the bicycle connection mode represented by the current popular shared bicycle is taken as the research object. The shared bicycle data within the range of bicycle connection is extracted by Python programming, and the K-means clustering analysis method is selected to select the virtual sites for shared bicycle travel requirements.Provide guarantee for operators’ vehicle delivery and convenient access to travelers’ bicycles.Based on the extracted bicycle travel OD data, this paper uses Trans CAD to optimize the layout of the bicycle network within the range of the station connection, and puts forward the bicycle double-deck road network configuration strategy, the improvement priority of each bicycle lane and its specific optimization measures. In this paper, the research on the intention mechanism of urban rail station connection mode selection and external accessibility promotion strategy has a certain reference significance for optimizing rail transit station connection structure and improving rail transit service capacity.
