In recent years,the Electronic Toll Collection(ETC)electronic toll collection system has gradually entered China’s expressway toll stations,and has formed a mixed toll station model that is currently accessible to both ETC and MTC vehicles.At the same time that mixed toll stations have improved the traffic capacity of toll stations,they have also brought a series of traffic safety issues.At present,the research on toll stations at home and abroad mainly focuses on the capacity of toll stations.There is a lack of research on toll station traffic safety,and there is no systematic highway safety evaluation system for toll stations.Research on toll station traffic safety analysis methods.First of all,the causes and formation processes of traffic conflicts in the three basic areas upstream of the toll station of the expressway,the decelerating ramp and the toll service section were analyzed,and the traffic conflicts at the toll station were divided into two major categories: vehicle lane change collision and vehicle rear-end collision.Select Baomao Expressway Qujiang Toll Station as the survey object,use aerial photography combined with manual observations to conduct traffic surveys,and use a combination of subjective and objective methods to obtain toll station traffic conflict data,which will be used to establish later toll stations simulation models and simulation software parameter correction data support.Secondly,the qualitative analysis of the influencing factors of traffic conflicts at the toll station from three aspects: people,vehicles and roads;the orthogonal simulation test was used to design the traffic simulation experiment;Simulate and obtain traffic conflict data when different influencing factors are combined;use simulation results to analyze the relationship between each influencing factor and traffic conflicts,and select factors with significance above 95% as independent variables for regression analysis to construct traffic conflicts forecasting model.Finally,the comprehensive traffic safety evaluation methods widely used at home and abroad are compared and analyzed,and the grey clustering evaluation method is selected to evaluate the traffic safety of toll stations with the lane traffic collision rate as the evaluation index.By constructing the traffic safety evaluation system,the traffic safety of toll stations is divided into four safety levels,and the corresponding evaluation index threshold is determined.Based on the operation law of traffic flow and the distribution of traffic conflicts of different safety levels,this paper puts forward some measures to improve traffic safety.
