| Ili Kazak Autonomous Prefecture(Xinjiang)is located in Northwest China.With a long distance from each other,local residences are scattered.As the main way of transportation in Xinjiang,highways have brought great convenience to people’s production and life and promoted the development of regional economy.It is vital to guarantee the use function of highways.Ili Provincial Highway 219 is an important provincial highway trunk.Due to the special soil,there are a lot of subgrade and pavement diseases,which affects the normal use function of the highway seriously.The special soil subgrade and pavement diseases and treatment measures of the highway are studied on the basis of the analysis of natural geography,climate and other conditions of the highway in the paper.The proposed treatment measure plays a practical role in the guarantee of the use function of the highway.It is also conducive to local traffic and economic development.On the basis of the analysis of natural geography,regional geological structure,engineering geological division,unfavorable geology and special rock of Ili Provincial Highway 219,it is found that there is a lot of poor special soil in the highway.It plays a great role in the stability of the subgrade and pavement structure of the highway,which provides a basis for the analysis of the causes of special soil subgrade and pavement diseases.The characteristics of subgrade diseases of common saline soil,collapsible loess,soft soil,miscellaneous fill and other special soil of the highway are analyzed through the investigation about the basic condition and damage condition of the original subgrade of the highway.According to the survey results,the subgrade treatment measures and methods of different types of special soils of the highway are proposed systematically,which provides technical support for the treatment of special soil subgrade diseases of the highway.The causes of the pavement disease of the highway are analyzed and the pavement condition technological assessment as well as the pavement structure strength assessment is carried out through the detailed investigation about the pavement structure and pavement diseases of the highway according to the special soil distribution and subgrade disease condition of the pavement disease section.According to the analysis results,the pavement damage of the highway is serious and diseases are dominated by cracks and ruts.Finally,it is analyzed on the basis of classification and summary of the treatment measures of various asphalt pavement diseases according to the investigation data of subgrade and pavement diseases of the highway that the asphalt pavement diseases of the highway are mainly caused by special soil subgrade diseases.It is proposed that subgrade diseases must be treated before pavement diseases.Then,the treatment method of the road structural layer is redesigned according to the traffic data.The treatment measures of cracks,looseness,deformation and other types of pavement diseases are summarized and proposed for the road section with good compactness and stability. |
