The on-board ATP subsystem is a vital system to ensure the safety of train operation and the safety of passengers’ lives and property.As an important function of the CBTC system,ATP needs to be frequently tested and maintained.With the rapid development of Urban Rail Transit,the demand for commissioning and maintenance personnel of urban rail transit operating company has increased.In the process of training new trainees,the way adopted is to explain the electrical schematic diagram and follow the class to practice.This kind of training method is inefficiency,time-consuming and low proficiency of trainees in commissioning and maintenance skills.In order to solve this problem,this subject designs a set of simulation on-board ATP subsystem which can be used for teaching and training by using PLC and MCU.Firstly,this article introduces the development process and research status of CBTC technology at home and abroad.Then,taking a foreign subway as a prototype vehicle,this paper analyzes the structure,function and working principle of on-board ATP subsystem,as well as the process of train traction/braking signal processing,and introduces the function structure of ADU display panel in detail.On this basis,the design scheme of simulated on-board ATP and ADU is proposed,and the hardware selection,hardware circuit design and software program design are completed.The functions of driver controller PWM speed control signal output,vehicle speed calculation,overspeed protection and so on are realized in the simulated on-board ATP subsystem,and the data communication functions of the simulated on-board ATP subsystem and ADU are realized by using RS-485 and Modbus RTU communication protocol.This paper uses the method of combining software and hardware to realize several functions of the on-board ATP subsystem of the prototype vehicle with PLC and MCU as the core components.The simulated on-board ATP subsystem can make the trainees understand the structure principle and working process of on-board ATP intuitively,which can greatly improve the training mode of the trainees,shorten the training cycle and improve the training effect.
