In recent years,with the prosperity of the national economy and tourism industry,the city hotel industry has also developed rapidly.As one of the important departments of the city’s tertiary industry,the hotel industry has a profound impact on the city’s economic development and functional form.At the same time,the rise of “Internet +” has ushered in a new spring for the development of the hotel industry.The emergence of new models such as online booking,online review and consumption rating have made the development of the hotel industry more and more visible.In order to better grasp the star hotel space distribution characteristics and its inherent law,reveal the spatial competition relationship between the hotel and site for the hotel,this paper takes Hangzhou city as an example,based on Ctrip network platform and Internet data real-time traffic data,using Arc GIS10.2 software and the average nearest neighbor index and nuclear density analysis to explore the spatial distribution of Hangzhou city star hotel features and spatial competition relations.The entropy method is used to determine the index weight and calculate the competitiveness score and ranking of high-end hotels.Then the obstacle degree model is used to determine the influencing factors of hotel competitiveness.On this basis,relevant opinions and Suggestions are put forward for the optimization of hotel space layout and the enhancement of competitiveness.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)Star-rated hotels in the main urban area of Hangzhou show an obvious feature of high agglomeration,which on the whole shows a trend of coexistence of central agglomeration and peripheral dispersion.With high-density areas as the core,a "one large and one small" "double-center" spatial distribution structure is formed.(2)As the hotels’ star level rising,fewer distribution density decreases,gathering area is reduced,and the nuclear density area from the patchy distribution to dot distribution.Each star hotel there are large difference between the space distribution features.On the whole,the distribution of star-rated hotels shows the common characteristics of clustering along the city center,business district,traffic trunk lines,tourist attractions and new areas of cultural higher education technology.(3)The spatial competition modes of surplus competition,non-surplus competition and dislocation competition are mainly adopted among high-end hotels,mid-level hotels and low-level hotels in the main urban area of Hangzhou.Hotels rely on dislocation competition between the hotel’s business model to meet different types of potential customers,in order to form a competitive advantage in the hot issue within the area of the distribution in the hotel.However,the spatial competition mode between hotels of the same grade and same star is chaotic.The market is seriously saturated.The advantages of their own development are not obvious,and the innovation ability of hotels is insufficient.(4)Compared with the hotel’s own internal conditions,the hotel’s spatial location conditions play a more critical role in improving the competitiveness of the hotel.Among them,the commercial service and business service around the hotel are the two most important factors affecting the competitiveness of the hotel in the location conditions,while the tourism resource and the financial service occupy an important position.These two factors are the main reasons to open the competitiveness gap between high-end hotels.The higher the competitiveness level of hotels,the higher the score of these two indicators.However,hotels with lower competitiveness can make up for the shortage of transportation and surrounding commercial services through price,popularity and hotel scale,so as to improve consumers’ satisfaction with the hotel.(5)Suggestions on hotel space layout optimization and competitiveness enhancement are various.On the one hand,the government should narrow the regional gap,optimize the spatial structure,improve the quality of the ecological environment,improve the traffic layout and strengthen macro-control.On the other hand,the hotel site should be based on the distribution of tourism resources as the main guide and center on the distribution of transportation hubs;At the same time,it’s important to improve the hotel’s own service facilities and improve the quality of the environment to enhance customer satisfaction.
