| With the advancement of the national rural revitalization strategy,traditional village tourism has ushered in new development opportunities.How to balance the protection of traditional villages and tourism development has become the current research hotspot.However,the current situation of tourism development in traditional villages is not optimistic.Excessive commercialization and homogenization of modes lead to the destruction of architectural features and cultural loss of residential buildings,which leads to the dilemma of unsustainable development.How to make many traditional villages glow with new vitality and adapt to modern life is an urgent problem to be solved.Exemplified by the traditional local-style dwelling houses of southern Hunan,which is located in Gaoxin Village,Huaqiao Town,Hengnan County,as the research object,based on its rich historical and cultural resources and beautiful natural ecological environment,we choose Gaoxin Village,the historical protection building project,as the retrofit practice and manage to create a traditional village tour reception and exhibition center oriented by development through the modification and optimization of the original architectural space environment.First of all,we applied literature combing and field research to analyze the historical evolution,natural environment,cultural resources,residential buildings and protection status,trying to study the problems in Gaoxin Village,Huaqiao Town,Hengnan County.and the architectural characteristics,decorative elements and cultural connotations of residential buildings in southern Hunan were analyzed and summarized,laying a foundation for cultural inheritance and innovation.Secondly,excavate and refine the architectural features,decorative elements and cultural connotation of high-tech villager residences,and reconstruct new design elements.Thirdly,according to the functional needs of tourism development in Gaoxin Village and the requirements of modern development,a cultural and tourism center with traditional cultural connotation and modern aesthetic flavor is constructed by implanting comprehensive functions such as tourism reception,cultural display and villagers’ activities.Finally,by following the design principle of adjust measures to local conditions and develop innovation,from the building style and features,morphological structure,decorative elements,cultural connotation,function forms five aspects put forward innovation practice strategy,optimize the space quality and meet the demand of the villagers double material culture and spiritual culture,realize the sustainable development of high new countryside tourism development goals.This article is based on the background of rural tourism in southern hunan local-style dwelling houses building space function upgrading as the breakthrough point,using the theory and practice,field investigation combined with case study method,such as from the perspective of architectural space to explore the retrofit design practice of southern hunan folk houses,hope for subsequent traditional village tourism development has a certain reference significance and value. |
