| Engineering plastics have been widely used in the automotive industry because of their light weight,good appearance and easy processing.At the same time,the processing and molding quality of engineering plastics has also attracted more and more attention from enterprises.In the molding process of plastic products,unnecessary molding defects will appear due to the influence of various factors.Among them,the influence of molding process parameters is particularly important.Therefore,combining CAE technology with theory and practice to optimize the injection molding process has a good guiding significance for improving product quality.This dissertation takes the automobile radiator water chamber as the research object,Based on the existing mold,the injection molding process was optimized by using CAE technology,SIM Method and orthogonal test method.The main research contents are as follows.(1)Introduce the application of engineering plastics in automobiles,common injection molding defects and preventive measures.Summarize the plastic injection molding process,introduce the influence of process parameters in the injection molding process on the quality of plastic parts,introduce the rheological behavior and basic mathematical equations in the injection molding process,At the same time,the basic assumption and simplification of each stage of injection molding are made,and the corresponding mathematical model is established.(2)According to the product appearance requirements,structural characteristics and dimensional accuracy requirements of the automobile radiator water chamber,Simplify the model and establish a finite element analysis model.Analyze the process plan of the first trial of the product,Verify the consistency between Moldflow simulation analysis and actual mold test.(3)Use the SIM method to establish the system flow of the injection molding process parameter design of the radiator water chamber,according to this method,the preliminary process parameter combination for injection molding of the radiator water chamber is selected: mold temperature 80℃,melt temperature 280℃,injection speed 80mm/s,Holding pressure 60 MPa,Holding time 4s.The results show that the use of the SIM method can basically produce products with acceptable appearance.(4)Combine the orthogonal experiment design,Moldflow software and Minitab software,The volume shrinkage difference,deformation and shrinkage mark depth during ejection are selected as quality assessment indexes,.The relative effects of mold temperature,melt temperature,filling speed,holding pressure and holding time on the forming quality of automobile radiator water chamber were analyzed.Comprehensive analysis of experimental results,Use the weighted comprehensive score to obtain a combination of process parameters that meets multiple indicators: mold temperature 90℃,melt temperature 275℃,filling speed 50mm/s,holding pressure 50 MPa,holding pressure time 6s,and this The combination of process parameters is verified by actual test mode. |
