In order to deal with the impact of automobile on the environment,people pay more and more attention to the automobile lightweight technology.The lightweight of automobile parts is one of the important directions of automobile lightweight.The application of high strength steel plate,aluminum alloy,plastic,carbon fiber composite materials in automobile is increasing day by day.Because plastic has the advantages of low density,low price,mature molding technology and easy to form complex shape parts,so "replacing steel with plastic" is one of the important ways of automobile lightweight.In this paper,the injection molding process analysis and mold design research are carried out by using the methods of theoretical analysis,software simulation and process parameter optimization,aiming at the molding problem of the emergency escape cover of the automobile trunk,which provides methods and guidance for analyzing the quality influencing factors of the injection molding parts in the production process,optimizing the injection molding process parameters and improving the quality of the mold design.Firstly,the structural characteristics and molding characteristics of the injection molded parts of the emergency escape cover of the car trunk are analyzed,and the injection molding process and the structural scheme of the injection mold are compared.In this paper,the injection molding process parameters of the emergency escape cover of the car trunk are calculated,and the entity is created by nx10.0.According to the injection mold design guide,the parting surface,the selection of injection molding machine,the design of molding parts,the design of gating system,the design of cooling system and other components are completed.Secondly,in order to analyze the influence factors of the product quality in the injection molding process of the emergency escape cover of the automobile trunk and reduce the quality defects in the actual production,based on the preliminary process parameter calculation and mold design,the molding process of the emergency escape cover of the automobile trunk is simulated and simulated based on Moldflow software.The important performance parameters of injection molding,such as injection time,cavitation position,weld line position and warpage,were obtained.Finally,taking the warpage as the optimization objective,five process parameters,including mold temperature,melt temperature,packing pressure,injection time and cooling time,were defined as optimization variables.Orthogonal test was used to optimize the process parameters and optimize the cooling system.
