With the gradual establishment of China’s transportation network,the number of tunnel projects is also increasing.The construction of tunnel projects is affected by complex natural environment and geological conditions.Therefore,the construction risk of tunnel projects is relatively high.On the one hand,there are many uncertain risk factors in the construction process of tunnel engineering.On the other hand,the successful cases of risk management in tunnel construction are few and not mature enough.Therefore,this paper takes The Huashan tunnel of Furong Avenue as a project to carry out a practical study on the risk management of the construction safety of the tunnel project.This study is based on the avenue of the lotus festival of tunnel engineering information related to the construction practice,combined with the tunnel construction safety risk management at home and abroad research achievements and experience,through the literature research,qualitative analysis and the combination of theory and empirical methods to analyze the avenue of the lotus huashan tunnel engineering risk management practice,find out its construction safety problems existing in the process of risk management practice and analyze what are the main reason for the problem,thus put forward countermeasures for the improvement of tunnel engineering construction safety risk management.In the tunnel project construction of Furong road,the tunnel risk factors impact the construction risks from high to low are geology factor,construction operation,tunnel slope maintenance,drilling and blasting operation and transportation inside tunnel.The levels of risk factors are determined as below through the interview with specialists.The risk level of geology factor is high,which belongs to undesirable risk;the risk level of construction operation,tunnel slope maintenance,drilling and blasting operation and transportation inside tunnel are low,which belongs to acceptable range and don’t have to take any measures.Here puts forward countermeasures for the risk of collapse in the tunnel entrance,the risk of deformation in shallow tunnel under unsymmetrical pressure,the risk of karst security,abundant water rupturing risk,water gushing and mud gushing risk in soft surrounding rock zone and the risk of slope instability based on the evaluation results.
