University Campus Traffic Optimization Design Research

With the implementation of the university campus expansion policy,the number of college students increased sharply,at the same time,the improvement of china’s motorization level and the university campus production and research open education concept,prompting a large number of motor vehicles into the campus,the formation of campus traffic space pedestrian mobility and campus traffic system construction does not match the contradiction,resulting in the university campus traffic traffic order disorder,pedestrian conflict problems prominent,parking difficulties,campus environmental pollution serious and other phenomena exist.It is of great significance to plan the university campus transportation system reasonably for the construction and development of the university campus.Taking Lanzhou Jiaotong University as an example,this paper,through field research and data collection methods,finds out the traffic problems existing on campus,and puts forward the traffic optimization strategy suitable for the university campus according to the guidance of the relevant traffic optimization theory.This study not only has some practical significance to the campus traffic optimization of Lanzhou Jiaotong University,but also provides some reference suggestions for the optimization of traffic on other university campuses at home and abroad.The main contents of the thesis research are divided into the following three parts;The first part:(asking questions)introduces the background and significance of the thesis,as well as the current situation of research at home and abroad,and analyzes its shortcomings in the existing research,and determines the main content of the research,research methods and research framework;The second part:(analysis of the problem)on campus traffic-related community transportation theory and sustainable development theory,etc.to comb and analyze,summarize and learn from the relevant theory in the campus traffic optimization reference value.And lanzhou Jiaotong University’s campus traffic status quo in-depth research and analysis,from the campus space layout,campus dynamic traffic,campus static traffic,campus traffic management four aspects of the analysis and research,sum up the main problems existing in campus traffic and lead to the existence of problems,for the next campus traffic optimization program to prepare adequate basic data and basis;Part III:(Problem solving)put forward the campus traffic optimization plan.On the campus traffic problem summarized in the previous part,combined with the theoretical method of traffic optimization,the corresponding optimization measures are proposed,the specific improvement measures of the traffic optimization strategy of Lanzhou Jiaotong University are designed,and the overall summary of the optimization strategy line proposed in the thesis is summarized.
