| There are many rivers in Jiangsu Province,and problems such as soil erosion and even bank collapse on both sides of the river often occur.Engineering measures are urgently needed to maintain the stability of the embankment.However,traditional river slope protection methods have problems that are environmentally unfriendly and inconsistent with the concept of sustainable development in China.On the other hand,as a kind of agricultural waste,mulberry branches lack effective utilization methods,and improper treatment can easily cause environmental pollution.Therefore,making mulberry branches into arch for river slope protection is not only of theoretical value,but also of practical application value.In this paper,the feasibility of applying arch of mulberry branches to river slope protection was studied,and a series of indoor experiments and field tests were launched.The mechanical properties of the mulberry branches and the branches arch,the deformation characteristics of the mulberry branches arch in the model box and the deformation characteristics of the mulberry branches arch in the field test are analyzed.The main research contents are as follows:1.Research on the mechanical properties of mulberry branches and their arches.Through compression test,bending test and shear test,the compression resistance,bending resistance and shear strength of mulberry branches were obtained.the standardized production technology of mulberry branches arches were studied.According to the mechanical and deformation characteristics of the mulberry branches arch of different densities and rise-span ratio under the concentrated vertical loads,it is found that the peak load of the mulberry branches arch is increased with the increase of the rise-to-span ratio and density.Finally,through parameter correlation and sensitivity analysis,it is concluded that the sensitivity of mulberry branches arch rise-span ratio to peak load is greater than that of density.2.Based on the test results of the mechanical characteristics of the mulberry stalk arch,the rise-span ratio of the mulberry stalk arch is used as the research variable.Through the mulberry stalk arch test in model box,the deformation characteristics of the mulberry stalk arch with different rise-span ratios is studied in the process of hierarchical loading,focusing on the analysis of the cumulative change of vector height of the mulberry stalk arch under different rise-span ratios and loads,and found that increasing the mulberry branches arch’s rise-span ratio can effectively improve its ability to resist soil loads.3.Based on the indoor test and research,the mulberry branches arch was carried out field test research in the 23K+019-23K+630 section of the right bank of the north side channel of the Fu’an Town Bay Harbor Bridge.The test was carried out for 168 days.By analyzing the cumulative change of mulberry stalk arch rise and span,and the cumulative settlement of the soil behind the mulberry branches arch,it is found that the cumulative arch rise deformation of the branches arch is about 8.1-8.5cm;the cumulative change of span is about 2.35mm-3.34mm;The soil settlement behind the branches arch is about 3.9cm.therefore,the mulberry branches arch can play a certain degree of soil retaining effect and it is feasible to use the mulberry branches arch as a river slope protection.Fig.60 Table 11 References 86... |
