The construction of highway projects not only destroys the original slope ecosystem,but also produces exposed slopes.On the one hand,simple engineering protection measures cost a lot,which are difficult to restore natural vegetation,so the effect of the slope protection is limited.On the other hand,simple plant slope protection is only suitable for better conditions such as gentle slopes and short soil slopes,and the application range is narrow.In view of the increasing requirements of safety,environmental protection and landscape requirements,pure engineering protection and simple plant protection can no longer meet people's demands Considering slope stability and beautification,slope protection has become the main trend of developmentThis paper adopts the combination of plant protection and engineering protection,namely ecological protection as the research method,emphasizing the important position of plants in protection engineering,and carries out research on ecological protection methods,construction techniques,mechanisms and landscape functions.Besides,the method is applied to the protection design practice of highway slope engineering,and the following aspects are mainly completedFirst of all,with the means of reading and reviewing on the relevant literature on the ecological slopes,the collected data is analyzed,integrated,compared and summarized.A new classification method of ecological slope protection type is proposed:Manual grass protection slope protection(including manual grass planting slope protection,flat turf,three-dimensional vegetation mesh for slope protection and other pure manual slope protection methods),spraying and planting grass protection slope(including hydraulic spraying and planting grass slope protection,soil spray seeding grass slope protection,spray mixed planting slope protection,TBS grass slope protection,and other main mechanical slope protection methods)and the skeleton grass protection slope protection(the slope protection method combined with labor and machinery)Moreover,the experience summary method is used to examine and study the surrounding ecological slope projects that are being designed,constructed and have been completed.Analyze the applicable scope,characteristics,construction precautions,advantages and disadvantages of various types of ecological slope protection,focus on the construction process of various ecological slope protection,and draw the construction process flow chart.Analyze the mechanism of vegetation slope protection and engineering slope protection,and study and analyze the slope stability analysis method.In order to provide a reliable basis for the development and practice of ecological slope protection conceptUltimately,applying the theoretical research of ecological slope to the engineering example,the design of several slope protection engineering cases was completed.It includes comparison of slope protection schemes,analysis of slope stability calculations,and investigation of native vegetation and plant ratios.Track and guide the slope protection construction and evaluate the slope protection effect.The study and application results of several cases show that the stability analysis of the slope is the primary work for the treatment of the slope.The selection of ecological slope protection,the mix proportion of vegetation varieties and the continuous maintenance in the later stage are of great importance.
